The staff, the beautifully restored hotel, the garden and lounge areas. The laundry lady! Staff were very obliging, sorting out and helping with planned activities. Honesty bar good idea. It was our base while in Chile.

Reception staff mostly spoke good English and all staff were very accommodating, suggesting good, nearby, restaurants. our room was very spacious with a large balcony overlooking a lovely shady garden. The Valentine's Day dinner in the garden was very special. The included breakfast was great.

Matildas is beautiful building, with tasteful rooms and with a peaceful garden-just what you need after a day touring around Santiago. The staff are incredibly helpful and are always there if you need them The honesty bar is a great idea and the breakfast was delicious.

Matilda’s is like a little oasis close to the city centre. The welcome we received was wonderful & the gardens were an added bonus where we enjoyed an afternoon drink in the dappled sunlight.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the true sense of the word. Highly recommended. Friendly & hospitable staff. A lovely welcome to suit the general ambience of the hotel. Classic building both inside and outside...a real sense of historical Santiago. Will definitely recommend to friends and other travellers who enjoy the air of discovery in travel. Great fish restaurant further down the street/around the corner with a maritime feel!
