Overview
Featuring a fully equipped shared kitchen, Hostal Providencia offers accommodations with free WiFi and 24-hour front desk assistance. Baquedano Metro Station and Parque Bustamante Metro Station are a 5-minute walk away. The private rooms in Hostal Providencia feature cable TV and either private or shared bathroom facilities. Lockers are provided in dormitory rooms. Free national and international calls can be made. At Hostal Providencia, guests will be able to use the lockers and safety-deposit box free of charge. “Good place for solo travellers”
Great location, staff were friendly and the events happening in the hostel are always amazing. This is a good place for solo travellers 100%. Staff can also speak english as a bonus (of course you should be speaking Spanish as you are in the country of Chile)

“Don't stay here if you want to be able to sleep!”
The staff were lovely and really helpful. The location is good for walking to some attractions and near the metro for getting elsewhere.

“Decent Hostel in a Good Area”
Events each night, clean bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, decent socialising spaces, good beds and in a cool, historic building in a nice area of the city. A laundry service was available and the hostel was in walking distance of plenty of places for food and drink, as well as the more touristy places.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The personnel, facilities and location of the hostel were superb. It is a large place, so it is vibrant and lively and you can do and participate in many things there.

Clean, comfortable room and friendly staff. Good breakfast, lovely courtyard and great location with what seemed to be lots of activities to create a social atmosphere (only there for one night so didn’t take these up). Solid base for exploring.

“Great hostel, great location”
It’s a very social hostel which is great if thats what you want, but not a loud party hostel which was good. They always have food or drinks offers which was convenient. There are two big kitchens with storage which was great to have.
