“A very special Hostel”
What sets this hostel apart from most others, is that the owner, Mayra, lives on site and has personal interest not only in the business but the individuals that pass through her hostel. I arrived at her hostel at 10pm, bleeding, bruised and sore after having crashed with my bike on the Pan American Highway. She insisted to take me to the nearby hospital and personally guide me through all the departments until we were finished after 1pm. I stayed at the hostel another 2 days to recover and she kept an eye on me, making sure I was taking my medication and cleaning my wounds, and occasionally slipping me some snacks or drinks. This speaks volumes of her character:.compassionate, kind and caring, always smiling and full of positive energy. The guest house is clean, has all the amenities one would need and has a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this hostel, and of course meeting Mayra.

“Good place to stay for 1 night stop over.”
Room was good size and clean. Bathroom worked well. The food was good and well priced. Nice atmosphere and everyone very friendly. Good place for one night stop over on way to Santa Catalina. Host Mina was excellent, very helpful and a character.

“Nice Host, great food”
Very friendly staff, they even made lunch for us, although they only serve breakfast and dinner normally, since there were no other places open on a sunday.. perfekt for a break in between travelling, would come again :)

“The staff is lovely!”
We've been welcomed so nicely by the receptionist and later by the owner who is incredibly kind and gentle. The place is quiet, clean and chill. The bed was extremely confortable, we spend a really good night in this hostel. The neighborhood is peaceful and calm. I do recommend 100%

The staff of the hostel are wonderfully helpful and friendly. The dormitory was immaculately clean with good AC. A peaceful setting.

“Best Hostel in town”
It was really great and comfy at the travelers Hostel! Only good vibes and a nice outdoor area to hang out. Really enjoyed the hanmocks and the outdoor kitchen

“Friendly, great accommodation for an overnight or place to rest or explore the surroundings.”
The friendliness of the staff and other patrons was a highlight. I stayed 2 nights to rest up from a road trip before progressing to Panama City. With the warm weather and humidity, the excellent air conditioner was appreciated! While the location is in a quiet neighbourhood, it is within walking distance to tiendas, good restaurants and laundry. Food service is available on site, which is also good. I also appreciated the secure parking for my motorcycle.

“Relaxing”
Everything was great ! The owner was welcoming and really helpful if needed. The room was cute and the bedding was super comfortable. It was really hard to leave the bed haha The shared areas are really nice too, with a cute outdoor kitchen and hamacs to relax. Highly recommend !

Close to bus terminal. Lovely property set in pretty gardens. Very clean and well maintained. Señora who runs property is lovely and very helpful. Can get dinner and breakfast at additional cost, but well priced. Also sells selection of drinks, including beer.

walking distance from the bus station maybe 10-15 mins friendly staff and they offer food even vegetarian option and it was a great meal and convenient quiet place I would stay here again if I am in Santiago

Ms Mayra, the manager, is very friendly. The location and facilities are convenient. It’s in a quiet part of town but close to the centre.
