Our stay at Black Lion Inn was pleasant, it was a convenient place to stop on our way to David, Tita was very personable and accommodating with our very limited Spanish on arrival. Warm shower, cold aircon, comfortable bed and convenience stores and a bakery close by.

The staff is very kind, easy to access from the panamericana, parking just outside the entrance. There is a panaderia close by and a bar open still late, also a little supermarket.

The management support team made our stay good by helping us with the bus to go about a km down the highway to get supper. Then another support person carried out a suitcase, got us on a bus the following morning to Panama City. Both young people spoke English and showed helpful skills at a difficult time. No charge for my tiny dog. Very nice of them.

No restaurant in hotel or nearby. Traffic noise at night was high as it is beside the main Highway.

We have stayed at the Black Lion before. It is an eclectic roadhouse-type stop that is always clean and a great value. It is pet friendly!

The hotel fulfills everything you would expect from an Inn. It is clean, well located on the Panamericana and the staff was very friendly. The wifi is also great.

Host was great! Spoke English! They were also able to save my food for me as my cooler had broken. The owner cut up my Avocado for me in the am before I left! SO VERY COURTEOUS!!! I would highly recommend as a short night's stay in Santiago! Very cute place, rooms were probably average for hotels, nothing fancy. the grounds were cute and area secured and locked and attendant at night spoke English and was very helpful!

Good location right next to the panamericana, right next to a fonda and panaderia. The host was very helpfull and Nice. The room was confortable and spacious.

Spacious room and very big beds. Good quality WiFi. Easy check in and easy check out. Good shop nearby and quite a lot of restaurants.

We were allowed to park our motorcycles inside, excellent wifi, coffee making facilities in the common area, friendly reception staff

the Black Lion inn knows exactly what it is: a budget highway stopover on the way to/from Boquete. With this in mind it is great! Clean and spacious rooms. friendly staff. Place to do some work/eat. Working AC. there was a backery and mini market near by that offered all we needed. The little huts outside the hotel were a great location to eat surrounded by flowers and protected from the rain. All one can ask for!
