The lake is nice, and if you want a more secluded/non-town place on the lake, the location is good. The shared rooms are cheap, which I thought before coming was a nice thing, but turns out it is really not worth it. Also, the staff was kind. Unfortunately, that is about what I have to say of positive things.

Staff are wonderful. Views are beautiful. The property is stunning, serene and very quiet. Everything is clean and well taken care of.

No bar/ alcohol service. Luke warm water in shower. Lots of Mosquitos. Restaurant closes at 7pm. Noisy rooms- can hear neighboring rooms through walls.

Clean nice room, staff was really friendly. Not everyone speaks ingles, but they try to communicate.hotel was beautiful with a lot of green and plants.the food in the restaurant was good so you don’t have to look for a place to eat.

The property looks abandoned ! It has potential but it is not maintained, very empty. No alcohol, the staff is almost not existing. I would not recommend this place

“Decent stay given the circumstances”

The hotel has a beautiful view, pool, and gardens. The restaurant serves a decent amount of options and the food was very good. We were able to enjoy all during the day when we arrived. However the entire town had lost power that day and the hotel did not have a generator. We spent our one night there in the dark with a few candles. The hotel did its best to accommodate this issue.

“Quiet option, beautiful grounds but hands-off customer service, no wifi in rooms”

The grounds are gorgeous, really clean and well manicured. Lots of open lawn space, rolls right down to the lake. It is in a quiet area outside of Santiago but easily accessible by tuktuk. There are a couple restaurants close by (within a short walking distance). The room is clean and appointed, they offer daily house cleaning. The wifi is not available in the rooms, only the restaurant, but they have a covered porch area (with a nice view) where you could work from a table and the wifi is fast. I would not recommend for working remotely however just because you are sitting at a restaurant table. Restaurant food is great and the service there is great but they were the only people I spoke to the entire time, no one else was around to answer any questions or help. All that said--if you are looking for some luxurious/comfortable grounds, a nice pool, beautiful view, and a totally flat area (no steep steps like you will find in other areas/towns) this is a great spot!
