This is the fifth time to come here and will come back again. It is a clean place in a perfect spot. Walking distance to supermarkets and other shops. It is also reachable by public transport.

“Horrible experience”

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE – Completely Misleading, Neglected, and a Total Waste of Money Our stay at Camping La Focetta Sicula was an absolute nightmare from beginning to end. We specifically chose this property because it was advertised as "on the beach," and before booking, we even contacted them to double-check this information. We were explicitly assured that the property was, in fact, on the beach. However, when we arrived, we discovered this was a complete lie. The property is NOT on the beach at all—it’s a depressing two-minute walk away. This is blatant false advertising and a scam. From the moment we arrived, we were met with coldness and rudeness. There was no welcome greeting or inquiry about our trip. Instead, we were immediately asked for our passports in a manner that felt more like a border checkpoint than a hospitality service. We were then shown to Bungalow No. 1, located approximately a two-minute walk from the beach. Right away, we expressed our dissatisfaction, explaining that this was not the beachfront room we had expected. The receptionist hurriedly asked me to return to the office with her to see if she could change our bungalow. As she was already walking back, she shouted in Italian at my wife and daughter, telling them not to touch anything inside Bungalow No. 1. My wife and daughter do not speak Italian, so they had no idea what she was saying. Once back at the office, she told me I was very lucky and that she could offer us a room closer to the beach, though still not on the beach itself. When we returned to Bungalow No. 1, it turned out that my wife had washed her hands in the sink, which had left a few drops of water, and the receptionist declared this a sufficient reason for us not to be moved to the other bungalow. Her tone was extremely rude, scolding us as if we were children before leaving abruptly, leaving us stunned. A bit later, we noticed that what we had assumed was the beach was actually a parking area for camping vans.

Bungalows are comfortable and sufficiently separated from each other so you have real privacy. The shower is super comfortable and hot water is available all the time.

Comfortable mobile home on a quiet site close to the sea. Good location for exploring the east coast, and a comfortable site to relax and swim.

Great camping place with good movable homes. The hosts were more than polite and helpful. Must stay place. This a good point to explore East Sicilia.

“Family roadtrip with the camping experience”

The location of the camping on the beach was enjoyable - 1,5 drive from Catania Airport. Supermarkets and a bakery within walking distance. Taormina is close-by and worth the visit. There were plenty of barbecues to use. We made friends with lots of cats!
