Friendly staff and cool rooms. Food was great, nice spot to finish Day2 of the Salkantay after the long downhill - one of the first places to stay.

We had a great stay after walking the Salktantay Pass. Electricity on at all times and hot water in the shower. Room and bed was comfy, nice views and the decking was a great spot for a beer. Dinner and breakfast both delicious. Lovely hosts who explained the road and trail conditions for the next day as there was so much conflicting information online.

“Perfect stay after a long hiking day”
Easy to find. The room had super comfortable beds and a nice hot shower! The ladies running this place are incredibly kind as well. We really loved staying here. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking.

“Lovely cozy lodge”
Loved everything about our stay - our room, our super friendly and helpful hosts, having dinner as a group with all the other guests and meeting again for breakfast in the morning. If Chaullay is on your list of stops for the Salkantay, I wholeheartedly recommend a stay here.

“Just the place you're looking for!”
After a long first day over Salkantay pass... this is just the place you need. Nice rooms, great outdoor area, lovely dinner and hosts, couldn't have been much better really. The views are amazing.

“Magical setting in the cloud forest - and best hot shower of the trek!”
Great location right off the Salkantay trail and a magical feeling setting on the edge of the river valley...stunning views. The room was lovely, spacious and well decorated, and a good hot shower. Food was great and our host Manuel gave us a helpful run-down of what we could expect on the hike the following day.

“Perfect stay for your second night on the Salkantay Trek!”
Manuel and his family were very hospitable and made sure we were comfortable from the very first moment. The room was spacious and full of wooden, handmade items. The shower was sooo perfectly hot. We shared the accommodation with just 8 other people and enjoyed dinner and breakfast together in a very calm, peaceful way. Manuel also gave us useful information about the next day of hiking. Thank you!
