We loved Little Escape in every possible way. The location was perfect — tucked into the forest yet close to the beach, peaceful and quiet with the sounds of monkeys and birds instead of traffic. The house was spotless, beautifully designed, and very well equipped, with an amazing pool and daily cleaning. It felt extremely safe, clean, and relaxing, and was ideal for children, especially with the playground just outside. Even without a car, it was easy to walk everywhere and reach Santa Teresa while still enjoying calm surroundings. Our host, Mike, was outstanding — always available, friendly, and genuinely helpful whenever we needed anything. Overall, it was an exceptional place to stay.

“Nice stay close to a wonderful beach”

We stayed two nights in August with the family. The lady communicating with us and showing us the house was very responsive and professional. The house is spacious, clean and well equipped. The house is part of a gated community with multiple houses/appartments. The kids especially loved the monkeys in the trees and using the small pool that is shared with the other appartments/houses. Location is very good as its only a 10 minute walk to a stunning and calm beach. The price we paid is fair for the quality. It truly felt like a "little escape".

We had a great stay at Little Escape. The host were so helpful & friendly, providing us with great recommendations. The place was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and quiet. Within walking distance to a lovely beach and close to the main high street as well. Would definitely recommend.

“Great location, wildlife and owner.”

The location is great it's out of the town a bit, but you can still walk in along the beach. There is loads of wildlife around the property, which is class to view in the morning while eating breakfast. The beach is only a 5 minute walk. The house was well equipped, especially the kitchen. The owner is super friendly and helpful.

Or family, with 3 kids, parents, and grandparents, all had a wonderful stay at little escape! The lodges were comfortable, modern and peaceful, set in jungle with monkeys and hummingbirds, and walking distance to the beautiful beaches at Playa Del Carmen and Mal Pais. Mike was a really friendly, helpful and approachable host, he gave great restuarant recommendations, and he even lent our kids some surfboards, which was much appreciated. We felt at home immediately and were very sad to leave!

Fantastic stay at Little Escape. Decision to leave a bit away (7 min walk) from the main street was the right one - you find yourself in nature away from noise & busy road, well organized house with everything needed for a stay, exceptional helpful host who gave as a lot of tips & supported whatever we needed. Highly recommended!

“Perfect Stay!”

We loved our stay at Little Escape. The house is very clean, modern, and spacious - especially for just two people. The house is surrounded by a beautiful jungle garden and there is a small pool! Little Escape is located just outside the busyness of Santa Teresa - but still within a few minutes drive to all the restaurants and shops. From the property, you can also walk within a few minutes to the beach directly opposite the property, which is great. We loved having a car so that we could explore all the beaches and restaurants in the area. The hosts are super friendly, always respond quickly, and will make sure you have everything you need during your stay. Will 100% recommend!!

Very enjoyable stay, it’s a little tucked away from the centre which is nice as the centre can feel a bit chaotic. The staff were very helpful and the house beautiful. You truly feel like you are in the middle of the jungle. Very well kept. Mike was also very helpful and sent us a list of places to eat and anything else we might have needed.
