My experience at Tunis Surf Camp was absolutely amazing! The owner is incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The best part? The low prices! (Which is almost impossible to find in santa Terressa) Plus, being able to rent surfboards there was super convenient. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an affordable and fun surf getaway. Will definitely be back!

Nice chill vibe, great outdoor space surrounded by nature and kitchen had all equipment we needed to make meals as a group of 5! Easy walking distance to beach restaurants and two supermarkets. Host Harrison was great, really looked after us, taught a couple of us to surf and even got us all coconuts from the tree afterwards! 10/10 would go back even though none of us surf! booking.com photos don’t do the property justice.

“One of the best places in costa-Rica!”

It is very good location, close to Beach, restaurants and supermarket. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Also the owner was so friendly and helpful, and really made it an amazing stay!

Great hostel, in a nice area and the owner was fab.

The place is really good located. Close to the beach, bars and grocerystore. But not directly on the street, which is good so it's not so dusty and quite :) Plus you see some nice Animals in the threes. The hostel has everything you need, kitchen and nice social are, but the best thing is Jerson, the owner. He is ea very nice and helpful guy. He made the trip very comfy and pleasant.

Very well equipped kitchen with beautiful scenery. Good price and Jerson (the owner) is an extremely kind person, always with a smile on his face and interacting with the guests in the best way possible. It is located in a great area, with supermarket, beach and restaurants within 5 minutes walking. Would definitely be back !

The hostel is less than 5 minutes walking to the beach, to a big supermarket and to many restaurants… so the location is amazing. Furthermore it has a big kitchen, the rooms get cleaned every day and the host makes everything to make you feel happy. Thank you so much for everything, I will be back!

“A nice stay in nature”

The location is in a natural area, you can't hear the main road and see/hear lots of animals. The outdoor area with hammocks and kitchen is nice and inviting. Near to the beach and supermarkets. Staff was also kind and helpful :)

The hostel is the perfect place if you need an affordable hostel at a convenient location to enjoy Santa Teresa surrounded by nice people. The kitchen is great if you’re planning on cooking yourself. The host Jasmin was very kind and super helpful.

“Little Oasis in the dust of Santa Theresa”

The hostel is in a really nice area, surrounded by trees and in nature. It’s really quiet because it’s about three minutes walking distance away from the Main Road and I enjoyed that a lot. Although there are restaurants, supermarkets, shops and the beach Playa Carmen super close by which makes the location unique in Santa Theresa. If you want to escape the noise of the main road and still be close to everything here you go! All facilities were super clean and the kitchen has everything you need. They have hammocks and areas to relax as well. The staff and the owner are super friendly and help you if you need anything. The owner is also very funny and a good person to talk to.The value for money is very good specially if you compare it to other places around. I really enjoyed my stay here and would always come back.

The host is a very warm and welcoming local and just started this hotel together with his wife. As a fisherman you also get to know his hobby if you like. The kitchen open to the jungle is a very nice natural place, you got lockers, surfboards racks, outdoor showers, towels and locks for small rent and a sufficient and clean kitchen equipment. It is not central in Santa Teresa but directly to playa carmen where you have supermarkets, surf and atv rentals and the beach to reach in 2 minutes. Overall a very good stay and highly recommended.

“Chilled hostel close to town with great host”

This hostel has everything you need - a big, well equipped outdoor kitchen, comfortable dorms and private rooms and an exceptionally welcoming host! This isn't a party hostel by any stretch, but there is a nice outdoor social area and kitchen which is a great place to hang out with other travellers. The hostel is set back from the main road in Santa Teresa so it's nice and quiet, but still only a short walk to the bustle of the restaurants, shops and beach. The hostel host is a fisherman and he very kindly gave us some freshly caught mahi mahi and sashimi during our stay which was a great addition to the staple pasta and vegetable dinners we'd been having!
