Our stay at La Herradura Lodge was exactly what we were looking for: a beautiful place set in a breathtaking natural environment, run by a passionate host and supported by a truly attentive staff. Breakfast was excellent, and we also had dinner at the lodge one evening, which was outstanding. The thermal baths are only a 10–15 minute drive away, and we spent both days enjoying them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend La Herradura Lodge to anyone looking for a wonderful nature retreat close to the Santa Rosa de Cabal thermal baths.

“Amazing time in Herradura Lodge”
The place is surrounded by silence and nature, just 1.4km away from the road that brings you to the thermal area of Santa Rosa. The staff is amazing and helpful to make your stay warm and cosy. They are producers of eggs, milk and other farm products used to prepare meals and breakfast which were very good. Contact the hosts in case of doubts, I am sure they will be helping you out with any aspects.

The amazing views, peaceful relaxed atmosphere and incredible staff made the experience exceed our expectations! The room was fantastic, well designed and very clean. The log fire is a wonderful addition and really adds to the cosy rustic charm. The focus on sustainability is also a great part of the ethos which we love. The service is 5 star! The team literally took care of everything for us from booking day trips, arranging and providing transport and delivering our meals. Manuela made us feel very relaxed and just handled everything with a calm and confident demeanour taking away any element of stress during our stay. We also booked massages at the cabin which we which we highly recommend. Absolutely anything we wanted or needed was taken care of in an instant. The breakfasts are also delicious, everything is homemade and very fresh. All our transport was taken care of making it so easy to get around even though it is a remote location. We can genuinely say we were looked after from the moment we arrived to reaching the airport when we left.

“Amazing place to relax”
The location was amazing with views in every direction. Edwin and his son were very excellent hosts! Our breakfast was delicious and prepared by Edwin's wife. Horses, chickens, pigs and cows completed the farm.

“A luxurious stay close to the Termales”
We absolutely loved our stay here! The room was really cosy & luxurious feeling, and spotlessly clean. We arrived early in the day and the staff were able to check us in & provide us with transport to & from the Termales for a fee, which was perfect. In the evening we sat outside watching the fireflies and the stars, and we especially appreciated the young gentleman who set us up with a fire pit & marshmallows to toast. It was really peaceful - I had a great night's sleep. The local breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Thank you all!
