As soon as we arrived we knew this hotel was going to be fabulous. The attention from the staff was great, the look and feel was fresh. Entering the room it was very spacious and the view was amazing. The restaurants had a large selection of food, the infinity pool had an uninterrupted view which made the sunsets something of a wonder... so much more could be said...definitely recommend this hotel, the location and much, much more

“Ideal chill out location”

Amazing facilities at an idyllic location. The beach was just outside the hotel’s garden, offering all you needed. The sea is swallow, thus there is little risk to swim there even during the windy days. Great service and hospitality from the guys at the rooftop bar.

Mostly the staff , Kevin , Danyeluis , Wilmar, Kelly in the second floor swimming , and Jorge and Yaritza in the roof ! The girls at the breakfast were also very frendly and profesional . The staff made the difference specially for a solo traveller

One of the highlights of my stay at the Hilton Santa Marta was definitely the breakfast. The variety was excellent, with fresh fruit, hot options, pastries, and made-to-order dishes. Everything was well presented, fresh, and consistently high quality. It’s the kind of breakfast that actually makes you look forward to starting your day early. The property itself is beautiful, modern, and very well maintained. The design feels elegant but relaxed, and the common areas are spacious and comfortable. The pool area is especially impressive — perfect for relaxing, enjoying the view, or having a drink while watching the sunset. The location is another big plus. It’s right by the ocean, offering great views and easy access to the beach, while still being close enough to Santa Marta’s main attractions. Whether you want to relax or explore the city, the hotel is perfectly situated for both. Overall, the combination of great food, a stunning property, and an unbeatable location made my stay very enjoyable.

The breakfast buffet was exceeding expectations- chefs catering to individual (egg) requests, a wide variety of breads and the biggest selection of fruit I have seen. A special shout-out to Daniel who was our waiter during breakfast. He provided a friendly and personalized service! Remembered our coffees everyday and would have them ready for us as soon as we sat down. Rooms are clean and spacious with a beautiful view overlooking the beach and swimming pool on the 2nd floor. The fish with coconut rice is a must try at the restaurant! The Hilton service for the beachbeds was excellent,fast & friendly! Just make sure you know if the hotel staff is taking your order or the local boys. There was a big conference going on on our day of departure that caused a lot of road blockages and chaos around the hotel. Bellboy Daniel was very friendly and carried our luggage to our airport pickup, further down the road, as he police didn't allow him to stop in front of the hotel.
