When we contacted the management and asked for a refund due to the poor condition of the room, they were not helpful and simply referred to their 24 hour cancellation policy, stating that if we cancelled we would still be charged for the stay. As the room was clearly not in acceptable condition, we had to escalate the issue to Booking.com and file a complaint in order to get our money back.

“Over rated”
The location to the beach (not free) was good, however, restaurants were further away but walkable. Close to train station. Rooftop area is nice to sit on. Good security.

“Perfect overnight stay in Santa Marinella”
Very clean and modern and only a few steps to the beach. We were able to drop our bags off prior to check in and leave them for later pick up on check out day giving us much more beach time for the kids. It was nice to have fresh fruit and yogurt along with the typical Italian sweets for breakfast.
