This property is perfect if you are looking for a relaxing romantic getaway. The pool is beautiful, large for the size of the property and very clean. The rooms are decorated in the beautiful traditional Sicilian style, ours had a terrace which was perfect for relaxing in the evening. It is on the edge of town so you can see so many stars! There was a beautiful homemade breakfast of fruit and pastries. The views of Stromboli and Panarea at sunrise were worth getting up early for!

We loved our stay on Salina. Manuela was so kind, transporting us to and from the port. The bedroom was spacious magnificent view over the sea. Good bathroom, lots hot water. Beautiful terrace and swimming pool area. Manuela gave us great restaurant recommendations. Loved Casa Lo schiavo and Mamma Santina.

Very spacious location, set in a lovely garden filled with fruit trees. Close enough to walk into the village for meals and shopping, but far enough to feel calm and peaceful and private

We had a perfect small house (bungalow) in the inner garden. Nice view to the sea and morning sunrise. Everything was available, small outside kitchen had everything needed for preparing a light meal. The place is hosted by a family; they were very helpful and friendly. Beware, local tap water is not drinkable, it can be used for cooking though. We had some bottles of fresh water waiting in the fridge, more can be bought from a local mini market. To reach the place, a slight uphill walk is required. Might be a problem if you have heavy bags, but well, this is a volcanic island, so it should be somewhat expected. Bathroom was clean, had the water all the time, no issues.

The location is wonderful (although up a very steep hill from the village and port, so you need to be fit) and the house is traditional Aeolian with a lovely cool balcony with a beautiful view. surrounded by lots of fruit trees and the scent of jasmine floating up to our room at night. Good internet connection. fabulous sea view across. Constant hot water and good shower.

Amazing sea views including Stromboli, wonderful spacious apartment with comfortable beds, very nice host and great breakfast. Location is very quiet but just a couple minutes walk away from restaurant and the Salina port at which the ferries arrive.

The setting for this property is stunning! Perched on a hill, in beautiful gardens, the view from our room, the pool area and Manuela’s home (where she served breakfast each day on the terrace) was exceptional. So special to gaze on the islands of Panarea and Stromboli across azure blue sea, and especially watching sunrise in the morning and the Stromboli eruptions in the distance at night! Manuela’s place is rustic and quirky, with many typical Sicilian features. The accommodation is basic but spacious, and very private (and a big plus is the full-sized fridge). The pool is spotlessly clean and perfect for relaxing. It is all up a steep hill, but Manuela kindly took us and our luggage to and from the port in her car. She is a lovely host, making us welcome despite limited English, and taking pride in providing delicious home-made treats for breakfast such as jam made with oranges from the garden. We particularly enjoyed meals at the restaurant Sale, Amore e Vento Braceria con cucina (turn left at the bottom of the lane). Salina is beautiful - hire a car or scooter and head for Rinella (black sand beach), Pollara (stunning harbour) or the viewpoint just before descending to Pollara which is perfect for catching the sunset.

Beautiful location and grounds. We could see Stromboli from our terrace and the swimming pool was just below us. Breakfast was a lovely selection of fruit and various sweet pastries. Manuela was a brilliant host, driving us from the port to her home (it's a steep walk with a suitcase), and available if needed. It was incredibly peaceful - a little bit of paradise.

Great location, close to everything. Manuela and her son Gaetano were very hospitable and very friendly. It was great that Manuela provided transportation to and from the port. Amazing view and quiet setting. Would recommend this place.

“Great find in beautiful gardens”

It is in a great location up the hill from the main town, but you can walk to town in 6 - 10 minutes. There are lovely views, and the gardens are full of fruit trees. When we arrived, it smelled of orange blossoms, and the trees were full of oranges and lemons. We were picked up from the ferry, so we did not have to bring the bags up the hill. The property has two charming cottages in the gardens and nice rooms with views of the main building. There is also a little shop with everything 1 min walk away.

A lovely home-style B&B run by family, it was lovely to sit on the small terrace outside my room and simply relax. Delicious continental breakfast served family style on the large terrace, the kitchen open for use of guests - for those early morning coffees, and a reading lounge - and to cool down, a large pool ticks the final box. Room was spacious and very clean - everything you could want. What was surprising, was being met by our host at the port on arrival, to be driven up to our accommodation with all our luggage and the same in reverse when it was time to leave. For a family run B&B, this extra level of consideration meant feeling welcomed right from the beginning.
