Overview
Just 50 metres from Punta Barone beach, I Cinque Balconi is 200 metres from the port on the island of Salina. It features air-conditioned rooms and a large garden with lemon trees. Hotel I Cinque Balconi is centrally located in Santa Marina Salina, with beautiful views across the Mediterranean Sea and the other Aeolian Islands. The surrounding area is full of shops and restaurants and is pedestrian only during summer. Rooms here have a retro style with wood-beamed ceilings and decorative tiled floors. Some even have glass-covered archaeological ruins. They all feature a flat-screen TV, minibar and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have a balcony. A sweet and savoury buffet breakfast is served each morning and features homemade food. All public areas are furnished with Majolica ceramic tiles.

Perfect location, stunning building full of character and very comfortable beds. Beautiful decoration and a charming garden. The terrasse upstairs has incredible views. We were definitely enchanted by this hotel and sorry to be staying just the one night.

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Santa Maria Salina. Just a few minutes walk from the Ferry. Beautiful building, even more beautiful gardens. Breakfast room and lobby decorated with antiques and art and photographs. The room was quite spacious quite comfortable.

Beautiful, peaceful oasis of a hotel on a wonderful island. Very tastefully decorated with lots of period features. Lovely and helpful staff. Short walk to the harbour where the ferry docks. Fabulous food at the hotel restaurant. Sea view from our room. I hope we get to come back one day- we have loved every minute of our stay.

“Hospitality Gem!”
I Cinque Balconi is located in a stunningly refurbished Italian Palazzo, with beautifully curated interiors and a garden. The narrative and the guest experience are curated in each and every detail, set in a bespoke sequence of a very well-designed scenography. There is a shop with local products close to reception which becomes a vibrant restaurant (Casa Lo Schiavo) with a typical Eolian menu at evening. We stayed in summer and had the pleasure of eating outside in the street, which offers the perfect environment for a great evening spent talking to locals and enjoying from happy hour to dinner. What makes the stay at this Hotel a truly enjoyable experience is the excellent staff, managed by Massimo and Diego, sophisticated hosts of I Cinque Balconi and Casa Lo Schiavo. Definitely recommended!

“Blissful tranquility with views of the sea”
Beautiful decor, fabulous location with a view of the sea from the balcony and a 5 minute walk to jump in, the restaurant at the hotel was very good, and also the restaurants close by. Above all, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a blissful stay.

Very good location, and nicely styled room. We booked last minute due to a ferry cancellation and the staff could not be kinder or more helpful. The restaurant, which is part of the hotel, is excellent - our favourite on the island.
