Located just a 5-minute drive from Piana di Vigezzo ski slopes, Hotel Ristorante Miramonti features a traditional restaurant and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Set in its garden, it offers a continental-style breakfast. Classically furnished, rooms are fitted either with parquet floors or with carpets. Each offers a flat-screen TV and an en suite bathroom featuring slippers and a hairdryer. Some also have a private balcony. The restaurant specialises in traditional local recipes, while breakfast consists of both sweet and savoury products. In the summer you can enjoy your meal in the furnished garden. Lake Maggiore is a 40-minute drive from the hotel, and Santa Maria Maggiore Train Station is a short stroll away.

The hotel has a great location and is very clean and renovated. The rooms have all you need and you will not hear any noises from the street or train station. The breakfast included many local products.

This is a brilliant hotel! The mountain decor, with plenty of warm wood, is perfect for the location. The entrance is right outside the train station so it's super convenient for those who prefer to leave the car in Domodossola and explore the valley on foot/train/bike. Staff is amazing and it feels to be at home rather than in a hotel. The room was warm and comfortable, and there are some snacks/water and a free surgical mask for guests. The bathroom feels a bit old style but is perfectly functional. Overall, the hotel is very well maintained, spotless clean and comfortable. If you have the chance, try the restaurant - it's superb and the atmosphere really nice. The dinner room doubles as breakfast room in the morning - due to Covid restrictions you cannot serve yourself at the buffet but the staff will be happy to fill your plate with what you select from the buffet display. The food is good also at breakfast, with a good variety of sweet and savoury items. There are some shops close to the hotel, including a minimarket and a pharmacy both within walking distance (10 mins or so). Some more restaurants can be found in the heart of Santa Maria Maggiore, again max 5/10 mins away on feet. Also, they sent me a Christmas postcard at home for the holidays - this was absolutely cute and unexpected!
