The access to the sea is tricky over rocks and the sea is not visible from the accommodation. Second bedroom is dark and dingy. Bathrooms are a compromise. Sofa is tiny. In need of a renovation. Cleaning should be automatically included. Whereas we had to pay cash to the agent on arrival!

“Very nice property”
The property was nice with own garden and as a plus, 4 sunchairs by the sea. Very nice location with an easy access to a long sandy beach. Short drive (max 1 hour) to visit beautiful nearby cities, like Ragusa, Noto and Marzamemi.

“The ice-cold hot-tub, broken parts in the house and camera inside ruined it for the friendly hosts.”
The hot tub was ice-cold, it wasn't possible to heat it up and therefor unusable. This should have been mentioned in the advert. What use is a cold hot tub? People were very friendly but there were quite a few things not so great. Opening the dishwasher was always popping out the lower part of the kitchen. One door (bathroom) jammed so bad the kids couldn't open it, in fact the owner had to put her weight into it four times before it opened, the warm water was set wrong somehow so the shower hardly got warm (they fixed this during our stay). And there was a camera inside the apartment, which feels very intrusive.
