A great resort with a great pool and direct beach access. Lovely architecture and interior design. We spent three very relaxing day there.

“A lovely luxury getaway”

It’s a very beautiful small resort type hotel right on the beach ! Lovely 40 meter pool to swim in; the ocean is wavy which produces lovely wind and sound ! Nice very kind beach to walk on. The small stand alone houses are well equipped and the lay out a decoration is lovely; the bedding is soft and pleasant. The open air shared spaces are also very well laid out and enjoyable to hang out. The place has great art all around, it’s like going to a small gallery! Staff is lovely! Breakfast is served to your room or at the shared space where a large table is situated. You can also have prepared meals at any time during the day, again served at your room or at any areas in the shared spaces including overlooking the beach! Very lush, food is good, and not cheap! It’s a lovely spot for a total getaway. The propety is located on a stretch of the beach that is occupied by very fancy private houses so no crowds or tourists around, just the comfortable hotel and the ocean ! You can really relax!

Beautiful property, the gardens are immaculate and well kept, very peaceful atmosphere. The pool is the standout feature and it’s stunning. The location is on a private beach, amazing sunsets - it’s about a 30 min taxi in to the town but once at the resort you won’t want to leave!

“Loved every minute and didn't want to leave!”

We liked everything about our stay at Samora Luxury Resort! From the food (wonderful) to the staff (amazing) to the pool (incredible pool) to the grounds (beautiful) and the beach. It exceeded our expectations in virtually all respects. Sammy the owner was there when we arrived and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful during our 3 night stay. We only generally stay 2 or 3 nights at each place when travelling around on our holidays as we like to experience different places, food etc, but we could have done 4 at Samora! ps -Dinners on the beach were a real bonus as well.

“This is heaven on earth”

This place is like heaven. Your room is like a home, the staff is like a family. Middle of the night I had a problem with my car. The owner woke up and helped me until the problem was solved! I travel a lot, privately and for business too. This is probably the best hotel I have stayed in my life. I think about booking a trip from Europe, just to see this hotel again.

“A unique stay in a wonderful location”

Anyone who comes to Samora has to deal with a very special place. It all starts with Sam, the owner: he shares his property with his guests for social reasons. And this property has it all. First and foremost, the frontal location on the Pacific and this gigantic beach is practically uninhabited. Also in the Samora there is little traffic - so nothing for party people. The visitor will find a beautiful facility with lots of personal furnishings, plants, sofas, loungers - wildly distributed over the entire place. The long (30 m?) and narrow pool is beautiful and has super clean water. Everything is very neat and clean. Sam is a great person and shares everything with great joy. The breakfast is delicious. The attentiveness of the numerous staff is overwhelming. We had the small room variant, which of course was much cheaper. This is actually only for sleeping and is sufficient. The large luxury rooms are absolutely great and some also have a pool. You do not need a car. The prices for the food is may be a bit higher in the restaurants in town. But the location and the luxury standard does allow this - and the quality is perfect. Conclusion: a great holiday in a fabulous atmosphere!

“Beautiful location, a nice hidden gem!”

The place is super beautiful! Amazing views, feels luxurious and secluded. The staff is amazing, Definitely let Luis make you some of his own Oaxacan cocktail recipes, they are amazing! The only negative is the food is quite over priced for what it is (17 dollars for guacamole, 25 dollars for 5 shrimp and salad etc), the food is nice but certainly not amazing for that price point. Also we were unaware they charged for the coffee in the rooms, that's usually included in most hotels, it was a 20 dollar suprise on the bill. That being said, we would still recomend this place and return- it's so well taken care of and the staff is amazing! They have a goofy beach dog and a few lazy adorable beach cats. The pool is beautifully designed, and the attention to detail is superior. What a nice hidden gem!
