“Terrible value for money”
The most expensive hostel in Argentina - 25,000 - and then they added 21% VAT which happens in no other hostel. One of the brothers is a nice guy but his other brother has no understanding of hostel pricing. He justified the exorbitant price with Booking. com commission, said I should have canceled the booking and got a better price by paying at the hostel and that it would have been cheaper if I stayed for 3 nights -all ideas that no one else does. The Booking price is always cheaper and the same no matter how many nights you stay (unless maybe long term) They are the cheapest accommodation in Santa Fe and thus get away with charging 3X any other hostel in Argentina. The best solution would be to avoid Santa Fe completely or pay for a hotel room which would be a better value for money. For travel reasons, I had to go to Santa Fe. There is nothing special about the hostel to warrant the price - no plug or bed light. I was offered money back but thought that unfair to all the other guests paying the same and not understanding the cost. Plus I wanted to write this terrible review and get my pound of flesh.
