We stayed for 4 nights and had a great time! Our lake-view bungalow was comfortable and the views were absolutely beautiful. We especially loved having our own private garden with sun loungers, it was such a nice place to relax. The staff and the owner, Lee, were very friendly and helpful, while still being discreet and never intrusive. Lee also gave us lots of great tips to make the most of our stay. Since we love hiking, we really appreciated his recommendations. There were also plenty of food options within walking distance, which made everything very convenient. We truly enjoyed our time in Santa Cruz de la Laguna, it still feels like an authentic village with real everyday life. That said, don’t come expecting a luxury resort experience. The property is charming and enjoyable, but more simple and laid-back. For example, there was no housekeeping during our 4-night stay, and one of the windows had no curtain, so the light came in early in the morning. One thing to keep in mind: bring earplugs, as the dogs in the area can bark throughout the night. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to travelers looking for an authentic and relaxing experience rather than a high-end resort.

The property is in the most idyllic setting. It is very rustic but that was to be expected. We loved sitting in the outdoor kitchen, which was very well stocked, unfortunately it was too windy and cold in the evening to sit outside.

A beautiful little piece of paradise in Santa Cruz. You have your own private garden with picnic table and lounge chairs, a well equipped kitchen to do some cooking outside and hot water for a shower after a busy day lounging around looking at the amazing view. Wish I could have stayed longer...

Great location right on the water. The location made it easy both to go into town , eat at local restaurants, visit other towns and rent kayaks. Apartment itself was very clean and had a great aesthetic. Would definitely recommend for a nice relaxing stay. Kind hosts who were happy to help with anything.

the property is rite on the lake with kyak and sup rentals .the view of the volcanos is just awesome .the outdoor kitchen was perfect .it's a new cabin with lots of hot water and power outlets everywhere I'm going to return in 2 weeks for another week. paradise man .
