Location was good, though there was not much around as in restaurants, coffee shops etc. But easy to get lanchas during the day to visit other places. Premisses looked really nice. Very social hostel I felt.

Wonderful location, beautiful surroundings. Temascal is very nice and I like the social aspects and gatherings in the hotel. Family dinner is a nice idea.

“Social hostel with a great view”

The staff are really friendly; it’s a mega sociable hostel thanks to the family dinner and other activities. I’m travelling alone and made some friends to go exploring with. Breakfast was always delicious! The view is the best in the whole of Lake Atitlan. It was cold at night and I appreciated the lovely wool blanket in my room.

We loved the family dinner! The atmosphere was really nice and sociable. We would definitely come again! Also views of the lake was stunning.

Very well managed. Reception opens on time; dinner starts on time; useful whats app group for connecting travelers; lots of activities are offered through a time table; clean facilities; international and helpful (volunteer) staff.

Great vibe and social feel to the place. You can see that the staff effort to maintain this and it works. Great set up and lovely gardens. Very relaxed atmosphere and amazing view of the lake

Very good facilities, beautiful garden, very kind and friendly staff, nice food, good location right next to where the boats depart. We had a private room which was beautiful.

Lovely place run by riendly Western volunteers. Good communal dinner and activities.

The room ( private) was nice and clean and I even had WiFi connection. The staff and volunteers were also very helpful and accommodating. The overall vibe however was very young and felt a bit like a summercamp though so it’s not a place I’d stay again. I think it’s fun if you’re 19 but not really if you’re 30
