“Beautiful Blue 💙 Bocana”
It was a lovely surprise, I was welcomed with professional friendliness, the room was clean, well styled and comfortable. The staff quickly became my friends with their kindness, and helpfulness. It is a smaller boutique hotel which I quite appreciate. The location is 100 steps to an incredible beach. Local restaurants to eat at, to include a restaurant at the hotel, and lots of beach to walk. Everything was so so great that I booked an additional 10 days. Perfect place to relax, with quiet noise and the sounds of the crashing waves...

The location of the property is excellent if you want to get away from the crowded beaches. The beach is beautiful the restaurants are very good. There's a river that joins the sea

“Charming hotel with very sweet staff.”
Great hotel by the absolutely amazing Playa La Bocana. Staff folks are extremely attentive and sweet. Roof top has an outdoor seating restaurant facing the beach. You can't get enough of that view. Breakfast was not possible at the time I visited, but I think they are working on it.

The room was small and clean. We had a balcony with an ocean view with two chairs and a table where we sat to rest and chat. There was unexpected toast and coffee for breakfast. That was a nice surprise.

“Relaxing and peaceful.”
This hotel was the perfect spot for a relaxing few nights. Located right beside the beach, it had an amazing rooftop where we watched the sunset each morning. Just seconds away was the beach lovely for a walk or chill and it also had to beachside restaurants with local food, and then a ‘fancy’ restaurant around the corner at Casa Bocana with nice cocktails & food. The staff were amazing. Shout to Jayden & Thomas who helped answer our questions regarding the area and gave us some really helpful information.

“After spending there 6 days I felt so rested and relaxed.”
Staff super friendly. Complementary coffee for hotel guest from 7:00 AM. Showers very hot. A/C nice and cold. Delicious breakfasts on the rooftop restaurant with an amazing view. Area nice and quiet in the night time, not a party zone. Fall a sleep with the sound of the ocean. Lots of beautiful beaches nearby (Bahia Conejos). They also have a pool.

“The way beach vacations used to be, and should return to”
Playa Bocana is a little gem , away from the ugliness of the resorts and in a tropical paradise. Not everyone’s cup of tea, as after sunset you are left with your family and your brain and no attractions. The beach is as rough as beautiful and you will have to pay attention to your kids and see them have a blast in the tall waves. Only two simple restaurants on the beach but with a great and inexpensive menu. The hotel is perfectly located (do not bother putting on a top or footwear to go to the beach), very simple but clean and in tune with the place (if not with the 2,000$/night villas surrounding it) and the young stuff the most helpful and welcoming ever. As soon as a better room opened I was offered to upgrade to it, and I welcomed the second floor view of the beach . Sure, you will be surrounded by the call of tropical birds, the surf, and dogs deciding to welcome sunrise every day, but my sleep had never been better. Gracias!

Sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise, the sunset, the full moon. Long walks on the beach. The fishermen and the surfers. The waters are intimidating but playing on the shore or in the river is fun. The staff are very kind and willing to help in any way they can. Gabe Thomas Lisa Cara Irving you all rock♥️
