“Lovely stay in the Orotava Valley”

We had a fantastic time staying in Juli! Communication was always quick and easy, and we were met by the owner’s friendly grandfather who showed us around. The house was spotlessly clean and clearly decorated with love. Large bedrooms with comfortable bed, good bathroom with lots of clean comfy towels (and we appreciated the washing machine to wash clothes!). Large kitchen area with table and indoor barbecue. We especially liked the separate living room with a large table and sofa and great views through large windows. Outdoor has two seating areas with marvelous views, towards the ocean and the adjoining wooded mountain. The apartment sits in a large orchard with fresh oranges and avocados - birds all around. Location is 15 mins to a parking area in the beautiful town of La Orotava, and thus also close to main east-west highways to take you to Teno or Anaga (and don’t forget the beautiful historical town of La Laguna). The apartment sits a few hundred meters above sea level so beware it is fresh there at night (we stayed in February) but there is ample heating and lots of duvets and blankets - it did not bother us at all. It is just a few minutes by car towards hiking areas up the Orotava Valley and close to the El Portillo access to the Teide NP. Two small supermarkets and a bakery close by. All in all I can thoroughly recommend - especially if you like to stay in a more rural setting but very close to a nice and interesting town and strategic roads towards other corners of the beautiful island of Tenerife. One thing to remember: if you use Google or Apple to navigate make sure you take the ‘longer’ route up from La Orotava, as they tend to take you up the shortest way which is a very steep climb for the car.

Everything was great, the house is after renovation in a great condition, with two patios, two living rooms, two separate bedrooms, coffee machine (both capsules and Italian), fantastic location (we participated in a local race which was literally 20 secs walking distance from the house!); overall very happy and thankful for also allowing us to eat some fruits from the garden 💚

We loved our stay in Casa Juli. Spacious but very cosy house, all the facilities you need and super peaceful surroundings. Every morning we took some fresh lemons and apples from the finca and the super friendly host gave us a lot of avocados and kiwi's to go the last morning :-) You do need a car since it's not super close to any city. Both La Orotava and Puerto de la Cruz are easy to reach if you have a car.

A charming, nicely decorated house in an idyllic location away from the hustle and bustle of popular tourist locations. The facilities are very good, the beds are comfy, you have practically everything you need. Our two dogs couldn't enjoy the orchard more. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. If you are in luck, some of the fruit in the orchard may be in season.

Casa rural Juli is a wonderful, spacious, beautifully decorated house with a large fruit garden around it. It was great to have fresh fruit anytime. The entire place is very quiet, with awsome view of the surrounding hills. We loved mornings and evenings at the sun terrace. Sara is a great host, friendly and helpful. She gave us a lot of useful information what to see at the north coast. I hope we come back before long.

Great garden/house and the hosts. Try to take a walk down to La Orotava and back. It is worth trust me-))

The house is nicely renovated and equipped, and is located in a fantastic fruit plantation, with great views, and relatively close to walking trails in the surrounding area. Very attentive and responsive host, he came and helped immediately when we had a problem with the power, and on another occasion when the dog that guards the plot got loose.
