“Art deco hotel in good location in old city, clean & comfortable”

Art deco hotel in old city, clean & comfortable. Difficult to locate as only one ‘1825 Stay’ sign facing in just one direction. Have suggested that another sign be installed facing in other direction. Also was unable to gain access in afternoon to pick up luggage en route to airport, although rang doorbell several times & banged on door. Was about to go to police opposite when staff member appeared.

Clean, staff nice but for the price I paid not enough. A lot of noise in the night.... At some point I woke up because I could hear a lot of noise.

“Good location and good option for a stop over”

I got a room (in the anex, La Casona) jusrt round the corner, a very nice and newly refurbished room, good bathroom, very quiet - I preferred it to the rooms in the main complex. Could have breakfast earlier to catch a flight. Easy walking distance to main square.

Friendly, helpful and very accomodating staff, spacious and comfortable apartment. Breakfast a little limited but ok. Close to the central square.

I don’t understand the good reviews. I am guessing they never dealt with the manager. I have never left a bad review for a hotel, but this one deserves it. Apart from promising me a taxi at 4:30am which NEVER showed up. I walked around the airport for 1 hour before borrowing someone’s Wi-Fi to book an Uber. Then the hotel claims the driver was there so they won’t pay for my taxi back. If the driver was there, why did he not call me? He had my Humber? You had my number. Total lies. Then they called my room at 2am….I asked why and it was to “remind me I needed a taxi.” My flight is at 8:30am I knew I needed a taxi because we had a conversation the night before about who would be paying for it… You called me 6 hours before my flight to remind me I need a taxi, but don’t call me when the taxi you promised is not there? That makes no sense. The manger is a liar and evidently vindictive. I don’t understand how this hotel operates.

The hotel in principle was clean/ok, besides the first 3 days w/o breakfast, yet the inscceptable behaviour of the manager causes me to downgrade the valuation to the lowest value.

Very comfortable and convenient hotel. It's located in the downtown area of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Breakfast is simple but good.

Lovely hotel with great room. I had a room with its own kitchen, big, comfortable and clean. Wifi worked well and the staff were helpful. Aircon was quiet but effective. Great shower. Beds are very comfortable, and its in the city center. I would come back and stay here next time as well. Full score from me!
