I liked that the staff contacted me a day before arrival with a personal, not canned, note. Everything was clean as a whistle. I liked the bicycle garage with an tire pump and tools too.

This is an amazing place for budget travelers. It was perfectly clean, the staff was so nice and accessible. We just loved it. I loved this small village, it's very cute. If you want to visit Bilbao or San Sebastian, it's not that close though. But it was worth it. They have a kitchen, you can cook there, and also use the fridge, the microwave, the toaster... Breakfast is included. Thank you so much!

“An overall very functional, clean and welcoming place to stay.”
We had a very warm and efficient welcome from Irunie, thank you. The albergua itself was very clean and functional, with much care given to details (like leaving euros for the coffee machine with breakfast meal in the fridge), which was very lovely to receive. Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and rest area were all great to use. We could store our bikes safely in a spacious storage. Can highly recommend!

“Excellent and high quality hostel”
The whole place looked very clean and modern with new fittings and features everywhere including the beds and bathrooms. Each bedspace includes a power socket and reading light. There is a new elevator so no problems with the stairs. It was quiet and peaceful. The showers and bathrooms were excellent with handsoap and paper towels provided. Access for less able bodied people is excellent in both the approach and the dorms. The kitchen and self catering facilities are excellent with a fridge, hob, microwave etc and crockery freely available. There is a comfortable lounge area again with new furniture in excellent condition. I would be pleased to stay here again.

The hostel is brand new, toilets and services are clean and fresh as well as the room (no nasty smell like usual in hostels dormitories). The village sweet.

Friendly English-speaking girl at a reception. Clean room, fresh bed linen, good wi-fi, nice location. We stayed for 1 night on the road. The whole place was clean and nicely organized. First time staying at hostel, but this one is superb! We took a room with a private bathroom.
