The total 3 day stay was first class! Juan and his staff were most helpful making you feel right at home. The breakfast buffet was generous, delicious and very nutitional. The room was comfortable and quiet.

The breakfast was really good with lots of variation. There was a lot of space to hang out and it never felt crowded. Bathroom was really clean and the host spoke good English and was very helpful with recommendations and directions. Very happy we choose this place

I really can't fault this place - the staff were all excellent, friendly, informative, approachable; the self-serve breakfast was perfect; the bathroom was clean, the bedroom comfortable, and the area is wonderfully quiet while being easy walking distance from the bus station, the central supermarket, several cafes, the fabulous museum and the nearest winery.

“Comfortable and like home”

The reception is excellent. Close, welcoming and with tips about what to do locally. It is great price for the accomodation. It is a place looked after with love, clean and comfortable makes you feel like home.

A truly lovely place with wonderful, helpful staff who were always easy to contact and happy to share great tips and activities for our stay, as well as advice for the rest of our travels. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the rooms were comfortable and pleasant. Cleanliness was excellent, and the facilities were absolutely fantastic. Breakfast was good and self-service, including eggs, toast, oatmeal, jam, yogurt, juice, coffee, and tea, plus a large water tank. The kitchen exceeded all expectations, and to top it all off, there was the sweetest dog!

“Comfortable stay at good cost”

The location is great, the house itself is cozy and well-maintained, the room was comfortable and had an actually well-working heating which is great, the staff was super helpful and funny and made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast was a nice touch.

Great location, excellent staff (Ivan is super cool), Luna the dog is great company. Clean, great self service breakfast. Good outdoor area. Good kitchen facilities.

“Cute dog...”

Luna the dog was so cute. The outdoor area and BBQ was good. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was brilliant. The self service breakfast was also very good.

This was by far the best hostel that we have ever stayed in. Our host and owner, Juan Pablo was very accomodating, helpful and kind. We felt very relaxed and comfortable and had access to all the facilities during our stay. The room was very clean and quiet, the decor was beautiful and the included Netflix on TV made it feel like home. We enjoyed the flexible self-service breakfast concept, where you can cook your own eggs on the stove and help yourself to what was available in the fridge (yoghurt, cheese, juice etc.) thank you Juan Pablo! 10/10!

“A lovely base for exploring the wine region”

A lovely, homely hostel in a nice residential area and a great base for exploring the wine region. The room was very comfortable and very clean and a very comfortable bed. Very good air conditioning. Very clean bathroom and hot shower with shampoos and soaps. A very nice kitchen, well equipped and good breakfast. Good WiFi throughout. A nice garden and bbq area with outdoor tables and couches. Luna the dog is lovely and friendly and good natured, and a good guard dog, though she knows what time people are asleep and was quite during the night. Very good communication with the owners via what’s app, he spoke excellent English and had some great tips for wine tasting and restaurants. It really did feel like staying in someones home here, and a great place to meet other guests, but with enough privacy too.

“Great stay, highly recommended”

Ivan and Juan Pablo were incredibly helpful suggesting vineyards and options for onward travel. You can also conveniently hire bikes from next door to get to the vineyards. The facilities are clean and have everything you need, would highly recommend!

“Loved it”

Loved this place so much! If time had allowed it we would have stayed longer! It felt like we were at home which after 3+ months of travelling was a nice break! Ivan was super helpful and gave us lots of ideas on where to go next. Luna was the best girl we’ve met! The kitchen was so well stocked with equipment and just such a lovely place!

“Great for those wishing to visit the wineries in the area”

Breakfast is designed to serve yourself and cook your own eggs and all fresh ingredients. Staff helpful with suggested activities and can hire bikes from next door. Coffee shop close by makes exceptional coffees.

Located in a quiet street, secure, close to the main activities of the area. Our first visit to Chile, so had different expectations on accommodation levels

“Value for money & a lovely comfortable stay”

We really enjoyed our stay here! Both of the staff were very welcoming & the host had loads of recommendations for things to do during our stay. Our room was very clean & comfortable & we enjoyed watching the TV when the weather was bad. We visited during low season so were mostly the only guests, which was obviously great for exclusive use of facilities. Kitchen really well equipped. Bathroom spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great for us! Of course Luna was the highlight of our time in Colchagua :-)
