“A great stay, thank you!”

We loved our stay - so relaxing with young kids as there’s an excellent play room, child-friendly spa hours and a pool. It has a unique charm. Excellent restaurant staff who go above and beyond to make the kids feel special (and serve amazing food!). Also had a great massage. We didn’t have a car so just ended our trip around Costa Brava here to relax for a few days before the flight home and very glad we did. We didn’t get a room with a view and I reckon it would def be worth it!

Beautiful place and rooms in beautiful surroundings. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Staff very friendly and helpful. The highlight of the stay is always the restaurant. The quality of the food and service is exceptional. Waiting staff in the restaurant are amazing. Attentive , cheerful and friendly. Finally. Very varied and good quality buffet breakfast. Will be back again next year.

“Extremely disappointing experience despite high expectations”

We booked a premium suite expecting a high level of service, but were left deeply disappointed by how the hotel handled a serious incident during our stay. On the night before departure, the air conditioning unit in our room started leaking, soaking several personal and valuable items. We reported the issue immediately and provided photos, but no one came to inspect the situation or offer assistance. Instead, as we were still dealing with wet belongings, we were presented with the bill for a few drinks which felt entirely inappropriate given the circumstances. Now, more than a month later, we’re still waiting for a proper response. The hotel insists we ship the damaged items from the Netherlands to Spain, at our own expense, so their insurance can possibly evaluate them. This request is unreasonable and not in line with the level of service a guest should expect especially when the damage was clearly caused by a failure on the hotel’s part. Everything could have been addressed in a much more professional and empathetic manner. Sadly, this was not the case, and it overshadowed what should have been a relaxing and memorable stay.

A great hotel, specially the old Masia building. The pool area is large and comfortable and there is a dedicated space for children with a smaller pool. The Spa area is also great and a good treat.

“Large living space but a lot of things to improve”

The room was very spacious and perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. It was quiet and curtains did a great job of keeping it dark. It was easy to park and charge the car. The staff were always very friendly. The welcome pack for kids was sweet. The lounge/study area was spacious and great to have a break from the room. Lunch food at the restaurant was outstanding!! Excellent!

Gorgeous location, comfortable rooms, friendly and diligent staff. We booked lunch at the restaurant and it was delicious, worth every penny. Also got massages at the spa the morning before our departure, lovely relaxing weekend.

“Breathtaking mountains views, great staff and food - not good for allergies.”

The view was beautiful. The staff were attentive. The food was really good. The spa was lovely. The walks in the national park behind were breathtaking taking - highly recommend the ‘Monclar’ route, 10k loop from the hotel. The setting of the hotel itself was beautiful, and the pool area was a great space to enjoy this from. Definitely recommend paying that bit more for a balcony view of the mountains - breathtaking!

“Beautiful setting for peace and quiet away from the Hussle and Bussel of the other tourists!”

The setting of the accommodation was beautiful and the facilities were clean and tidy. We hired a car and drove the hour to get to the accommodation from the airport which was easy to get to with google! As we had the car, we were able to get to the beach which was a 10-15min drive away along with bars and restaurants. The restaurant was very good - remember to book though as we forgot and got a sulky face on the second time of not remembering! bit pricey but you'd expect that for what you paid for the stay. We ate out other places also. you cant walk to anywhere so be prepared for taxi rides and or car hire. The breakfast buffet was amazing!

The breakfast was ample. The spa was a delight. Sadly too cold to enjoy the pool and grounds.

The location is amazing, it's in a tranquil natural spot, with beautiful views. The room was clean and spacious. Nice Spa area, and great outdoor swimming pool with sunbeds. It is a great place to escape from busy areas.
