“The perfect place to enjoy Santa Catalina!”

Everything. We had the little house with the ocean view and we spent the best time of our holiday. The vibes and the staff were just amazing.

“Amazing stay, kind hosts, clean room!”

The hosts are super friendly and helpful and the room was impeccably clean. Also the kitchen facilities were clean and neat. One tiny advice: book a restaurant for the evening as we had a hard time finding a place to eat because everything was fully booked.

It's one of the few places in the area where you can soak in the authentic vibe of Santa Catalina. Everything this family business has built is intentional, in good taste. The bathroom was so modern too. We don't usually spend a lot of time at our accommodation, but this was different. Seeing the sunset from the comfy hammock and observing locals having a volleyball game or having a slow start to the day enjoying coffee in the garden were so worthwhile. A very laid back and romantic place. Big shout out to the owners, I left my phone behind by mistake and they helped me get it back by liaising with a driver who was coming to Panama city, so I wouldn't have to go on a twelve hour drive (back and forth) to get it myself. That gesture said it all.

We had a fantastic stay at Hostal Familiar Rolo. The staff is very accessible and super nice and propose several offers. The room is super clean, private and with AC which makes the room not humide. We could eat our food with a wonderful view of the beach. Finally, neighbourhood felt safe and local.

What a charming family! We loved staying in this family run hostel near the beach. It was fun to hire a canoe and paddle to the nearby island. We booked a very good tour to Coiba at the hostel.

Beautiful location right at the beach and nicely decorated property. Very green, lots of hammocks, clean kitchen and unbelievably nice hosts. Rolo and his family are very polite, friendly and helpful. Groceries, a fruit market and plenty of dive shops are close by.

The room and bathroom were spacious and spotless. I loved the hammock outside the room. The coffee in the morning is a nice touch. Wifi was excellent throughout the property and common areas. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location right at the beach is great, and there are nice common areas to sit and relax. The little cabana overlooking the beach would be amazing if you can snag that.
