The beach is really not nice. The area is not taken care of, dirty. That's a pitty the place has som much potential.

The owner and his time went out of their way to cook vegan food for us and make us feel like we belong. The location is far from Santa Catalina which made it more quiet, beautiful nature and amazing salt water pool.

The room is clean and fine. If you are just looking for a stay outside of Santa Catalina, this is perfect. They also have good coffee.

The hotel js a peaceful, sprawling place right on the beach where I was able to explore, relax and decompress in a low-key, warm, private location. It’s excellent value for money, very clean, with a well-priced restaurant and lots of hammocks/day beds/yoga platforms. I’ll happily come back here.

We really enjoyed staying at hibiscus garden. Its such a lovely place to relax and chill. You can see the beach from the Pool. Its a bit further from santa catalina, so i would recommend a car if you want to visit this place. But if you like a beautiful quiet place, i would highly recommend hibiscus.

I loved everything about my stay. My room was huge! It was clean, had 2 beds, and a porch with a hammock steps away from the pool. I was surprised that the pool was available 24hrs because most hotels close theirs between 8-10pm. I had ac in my room which came in handy. The food was pretty good and my favorite were the pancake breakfast and the fish sandwich. The place was very calm and peaceful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Anything I needed, they accommodated. They even help you book excursions so you make the most of your trip. I loved my stay, honestly.

The location is perfect, far from everything 😉, therefore own car or rental car is recommended. Staff is very polite and attentive. Food is good and reasonably priced.

The three very helpful women that runs the place made my stay very pleasant. The pool is very nice. The room was a bit small but with a nice bed.

The location is a bit remote but it was so gorgeous. Right next to the ocean and the pool and palmtrees really make it look like paradise. The owner and staff where super friendly and helpful!

“Dissapointing”

This place was very run down... looks like its been abandoned. I booked an "ocean view family room" for 3 people, but the room I got had no ocean view and only a double bed. Luckily I was traveling alone due to my friend cancelling on me last minute. I asked about the ocean view and they informed me if I crouched down by a corner of the balcony, I could sorta see the ocean. The light on the bathroom and fauced were not functioning properly. They did warn me about the light in the bathroom and offered a different room, but it was smaller and far out so I kept my original room. I tried to have dinner there but the restaurant was not open a the advertised time on the board. I am not sure if it was working at all, but I wasn't able to try the food. Lastly, Lagartero beach, the beach where this place is located, is not pretty. This is not their fault but I would not get in this beach.
