The general vibe and the staff

The rooms and facilities are really nice and feel very luxury for a hostel. The food is also amazing and it is a nice spot for breakfast/lunch or to have some sunset drinks. A good spot to stay if you want something relaxed with nice rooms and a chilled vibe.

Location with great sea and sunset views, 20 minutes walk from village center. Large comfortable outdoor bar/restaurant with pool and poolbar. Good food ,great breakfast.

Excellent situation. Quite vibrant during the day and early evening but quiet at night. Woken by birdsong nothing else. Staff were excellent and always willing to help out, or concoct a cocktail/ mocktail for you in the pool to chill out after diving. Real variety of ages and nationalities staying in a very convivial environment. Watching the sunset brings everyone together. Mike and Felix on the reception were a great team with very good English skills. Good mixture of rooms from dorms to very well appointed king suites- we loved our balcony with hanging chairs to watch the world go by.

“Luxurious choice for solo travellers”

A really luxurious accomodation, even for solo travellers like me.The bunk beds were really comfortable and the common space with the pool and the bar was perfect for relaxing. Highly recommended!

Amazing

Loved our private cabin overlooking the ocean. Very comfortable, good air con, and surprisingly spacious! Really easy to get around from the hostel. The staff were really friendly and had great suggestions. The food whilst a little higher priced than other places is tasty with a varied menu. The pool is lovely and has a great view also.

This is a very beautiful hotel. The pool is amazing and the room was super comfortable. Loved the air conditioned recreation room aswell.

We booked this stay as a special treat for my birthday, as I turned 30 on the day we checked out. Unfortunately, despite mentioning it, nobody acknowledged it. It would have been a nice gesture, as many hotels tend to do something small for occasions like that. The room itself was extremely nice and very clean, which we really appreciated. However, most of the issues were with the food. Breakfast offers quite a few options, but many dishes feel overcomplicated, with too many ingredients on the plate. For example, the avocado toast had so many toppings that the avocado flavor was completely lost. The tomato toast also came with cooked tomatoes, which was unexpected and not very appealing. On the second morning I specifically asked if the tomatoes could simply be served fresh and plain, but unfortunately the request wasn’t followed. The breakfast burrito also had far too much egg, making it quite soggy. We later tried lunch and ordered a tuna poke bowl, which was unfortunately disappointing. Again, it felt like there were too many components competing with each other. The edamame was served warm and didn’t taste very fresh, and the tuna flavor was overpowered by everything else in the bowl. We also ordered a frappé, which unfortunately was mostly ice and didn’t really taste like chocolate. We tried the burger as well, which was actually excellent. However, the portion of fries served with it was surprisingly small considering the price. Overall, the food feels overpriced for the quality and execution. On a positive note, the staff were friendly, especially the reception team, who were always helpful and welcoming. One additional point: it was not ideal that several people who were not staying at the hotel were using the pool and sunbeds. There were already limited loungers available for guests, so this made it difficult to find space. Considering that hotel guests are paying for their stay, it would make sense to prioritize them.

Such a beautiful hotel (too luxurious to be called a hostal). And great diner! We really recommend this hotel when staying in Santa Catalina!
