Good price for a clean hostal. Avoid room 9 because it is in front of showers/toilets and closed to the kitchen, so we didn’t have privacy and quiet.

Great value for money,and in a good location. We received a warm welcome from Claudia, and Lucas was always around to give help and advice. He saved us a lot of money by showing us where and how to use local buses to get around. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Thank you.

“Refused to honor the Booking.com price!!”
Hostal Casa Luna refused to honor the Booking.com price of our reservation and increased by 20%. No reason or justification provided even after we asked multiple times. Check the other reviews, many show a similar story. Safety is questionable, no hot water as advertised and loud music/street noise are also big negatives. AVOID!

Good and cheap option if you wanna have a single room with a strong ventilator over the bed. Good food places around, 15 minutes walk to the center. I liked the area.

The staff was very friendly. They have a restaurant on the property which makes it easier and the beers are super cold 🥶 which helps A LOT! The main issue is how hot the rooms are. STEAMING HOT!!

The owner and family did the most to look after me unfortunately I fell sick and they went on two separate occasions to get me medication and checked up on me regularly. Also it’s ran by locals so please support

“Nice hostel but inappropriate and not transparent communication about the laundry “service”.”
The Hostel was wonderful and I had my privat room. The kitchen was also okay. Lukas on of the staff has been a wonderful host!

“great value for money”
For the price we paid it was great value for money. Room was very clean and so were the bathrooms. Kitchen was basic but definitely usable however loads of cheap eats around the hotel. They also offer clothes washing and drying for $6 for a big load that was very reasonable if you have a bunch of washing to do and it came out super clean.
