I really liked my stay here, very well located, easy check-in (via door code as I arrived very late hours), excellent communication from the owner and his son, I was able to pay for my stay using my card/online link. The room seemed very clean to me, there was sometimes a smell from the bathroom but it stayed in the bathroom and didn't extend to the room itself and otherwise the bathroom itself was clean. Good quality towels were provided as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash . Bed was comfortable and I was fine with just the fan, but if you get hot too easily you may prefer choosing one of the rooms with Aircon instead. Excellent value for money. Also very grateful for the recommendation for a driver for the various places I wanted to tour - he was calm, patient, drove well and completely flexible to my schedule.

“Amazing accomodation”

Great location, hot showers, air con was great, comfy bed. Owner was available via WhatsApp if any issues and his dad was at the property most days. Good kitchen space and drinking water available

“Basic but functional stay in a great location.”

The location was perfect, so close to the cathedral/Centro but not noisy at all. The room was comfortable and aircon was great, the shower was powerful and not freezing which is better than we can say for most local stays! Staff were very responsive when we messaged them. (Note you have to tap the ‘Yale’ symbol on the keypad on the front door to get the numbers to appear.)

The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in for a long time at a hostel. The hot water in the shower was good and the bathroom clean. The kitchen area was fantastic, everything clean and new with all you need to make good food. Plenty of tables and chairs and some comfortable settees. The location is ideal and nice and quiet. Great value for money.

Exactly what you need for a few nights in Santa Ana. A central location, a comfy bed, AC, (TV with Netflix which was a treat!) and friendly staff. Good room for a couple travelling. Exceptional value for money for a private room in the city.

Nice hostal close to the cathedral and everything you want to see and do. My room was spacious and comfortable. The A/C worked fine and so did the wifi. I didn't meet the owner/manager, but I always got a quick reply online when I had a question. Unless you sleep like the dead, stay away from rooms 4 and 5. They open up on the kitchen/laundry room and there always inconsiderate people preparing food or doing a wash at 5:00am or 11:00pm. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and recommend this hostal to anyone visiting Santa Ana.

The location is perfect! Central to everything, but really quiet, perfect for couples or families. We joined activities at surrounding hostels but had our own privacy. The staff were responsive, helpful, and explained everything clearly. The washing machine and dryer worked well, and the kitchen has decent equipment for making meals. The wifi was good, and the property was very secure (code door to lock).
