“It’s always such an amazing feeling when we come it’s so relaxing thank you for that.”
It’s a lovely building with so much history and character, we have stayed three times now and will be staying again, the breakfast was lovely thanks to the lady in the kitchen that made our lovely omelette.

“Almost as good as it gets”
This is a great hotel with its slightly bohemian air and laid back attitude it might not be for everyone but the staff, location, breakfasts and rooms are excellent. It was our second visit and we weren't disappointed. Great spot for swimming kite surfing walking and cycling and perfect for out dog.

Mas del Mar was a really special place to stay and we can strongly recommend it to anyone who would like to stay near the fantastic beach on Costa Brava but also avoid the crowds and the damaging over-tourism. The building and decoration is beautiful and relaxed, albeit a little worn. The view from any window is extraordinary. Next time we will set the alarm for six a.m. to make sure we don’t miss the sunrise. The pool area is really nice too. Breakfast is delicious with fresh croissants, a variety of Spanish cheese and charcuterie, little glasses with locally produced yogurt, fresh fruit and good coffee. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
