Very comfortable if a little dated

Very nice hotel, our room was very comfortable. I cannot say anything about staff or food as we stayed in a quiet moment when also the restaurant was closed

“Quirky, friendly, comfortable, very large bed!”

We had booked a double room but got offered an appartment with balcony as we were staying for four nights. It was very different form the room we had booked as in it was modern and large. The lady who checked us in couldn't have been more helpful, she got us a kettle and toaster and hair dryer, plus others things that the appartment lacked. We really liked the hotel, had a good meal there too.

The building is historical and it looks like very well furnished castle, it is much more comfortable though. The food is splendid with varieties to choose from in a bufet, to freshly squeezed juice in the morning. Location is very quiet on the border of a town so you can have endless walks around.

“Closed location open to book Crazy”

It seemed nice from booking.com description and in particular the restaurant sounded promising. So we booked 2 hours before arrival. The place was empty. Nobody there on arrival. Front door open but dark inside. How ridiculous to be able to book a location that was actually closed. Very disappointing

The hotel is a historical gem. Old-fashoines and extremely well-preserved, this place takes you to some 100 years back- you will find yourself living in a museum. Still, the bed and bath are very comfortable and the place is run very nit. The breakfast was remarkably tasty - all the products were of top quality,and the homemade pastry was simply wonderful.

“A classic hotel in a good location”

Our stay here was very good, the room was very spacious and well equipped. We had a private balcony and a very spacious bathroom. The breakfast was great and served in the restaurant which had views onto the garden. I would recommend the hotel to anyone. A beautiful building well maintained.

Pretty building from the outside. Good size room and bathroom. Everything worked. Good size balcony (looks like most of the rooms at the back have balconies). The back looks over the restaurant which was empty for our stay but it may be a bit noisier in busier times - you might ask for higher floor at the back if that bothers you. Friendly staff. We didn't have breakfast but it looked substantial. The restaurant has an upscale menu which was more than we wanted and anyway out was empty - like much of the village which seemed odd for high season. There's a cheerful simple bar/cafe down the road to get a drink and a bite and there are a couple more in the old village.

“Carefull these people are not reliable!”

We paid cash at the desk after the receptionist told us that both creditcards were not accepted. Well they were and we have been charged three times! I spoke to them on the phone and wrote messages, they do not react at all!!!!!
