Hotel El Castell also has easy access to the city centre by car or public transport. Rooms at the hotel are spacious and elegant. They have exterior views and satellite TV. The hotel has a popular restaurant, Blanc&Negre. There is also a café. In the summer, meals can be served outside on the terrace.

The hotel was good and the location was convenient, both for getting to and from the airport and for visiting Barcelona. The room was comfortable.

Reasonable price close to airport. Friendly staff. Town centre was close with lots of food options plus we had the bonus of a local community dance event happening at the town square while we we eating.

“Barcelona stay”
The hotel is situated in a quiet and nice area, but walking up to the hotel is quite an effort since it's on a steep uphill location. The room is spacious enough with a partial view of the city. It's just disappointing to say that there's no kettle provided for tea/coffee. The rooms need some updating. There's no shower gel or shampoo provided, but just one small soap. Overall, it's not too bad, but you can get better accommodation for the price I was charged.

“Hotel needs a revamp urgently!”
Walls were dirty and needs a coat of paint, Vanity top had a big hole in it, toilet seat was totally loose. External patio - the dividers between the room's gardens were created by shade netting on fencing, which looks very tatty and untidy

A nice clean hotel in a an old refurbished castle. The hotel is located on a hill just outside busy Barcelona, and close to the airport. The rooms have a splendid high sealing, and the beds are excellent sleep quality. We travelled from and to the city using a combo of the metro and Uber.

“We made the most of what we had.”
Property is in a great location, away from other tourists who stay closer to city center. You’re around 35 mins from city center at this hotel. Has great pool facility with great views and is kept very clean. Some of the staff are very helpful and speak great English! The bar service was very good with reasonable pricing. Great surrounding area to go on walks and explore!
