The breakfast was very good with a large variety. Cheese, cold cuts, egg cooked to order. Fruit, yogurt, and cereal as well. I also mixed up a charge on my credit card from another stay and they were very kind on clearing it up with me. The stay was very good value.

Fabulous accommodation in a beautiful rural area, but only 5 minutes drive from the city center, from the wall of Lucca. The room is cozy, comfortable and very clean with a large bathroom. The breakfast is delicious with a great variety of home made jams, ham and cheese and eggs. The owners, Caterina and Paolo are very welcoming and helping with all the information you need around Lucca. There are also good restaurants nearby. We will definitely come back :)

“Hidlic stay near Lucca”

Rustic and beautifully kept Agriturismo in the countryside just out outside Lucca town. Ten mins bike ride from the city centre. The breakfast was excellent and abundant. Locally sourced produces. The owners are very kind and attentive towards customers needs. We also had a great laugh together.

This is the third time that we come here and every time it is simply wonderful. Katrina and Paulo are the best hosts - welcoming and caring, ready to go above and beyond to make sure their guests feel at home. Spacious rooms, spotlessly clean bathrooms, breakfast with fresh tomatoes and basil from the garden, not to mention wine and olive oil produced right there - its a paradise on earth. We will definitely come back again

Paulo, Katrina and Francesca are the most hospitable hosts! Fantastic breakfast, beautiful rustic rooms in a lovely home that has been in the family for 100years. I stayed for 5 days and many people who came were returning guests. It's not hard to see why. Thank you for a restful stay where one feels welcomed in a peaceful environment xxx

The hosts are so welcoming and warm people! They are a hardworking couple who put their hearts in everything that they do! We really enjoyed staying at their farm! The hosts gave very good advice of what to see and where to eat nearby. The room was very clean and comfortable. And the breakfast was amazing! Fresh and tasty and in a beautiful setting with morning sunlight.

“Rustic and clean accommodation in rural setting but literally only 2 miles walk into Lucca old town”

Location was approximately 2 miles from Lucca old town in a rural quiet area. Walking in Lucca was doable but road could be busy with cars and parts had very small paths. The hotel was in beautiful setting growing it’s own olive oil,wine and fruit, a lot of which could be purchased from owners. Owners were brilliant and very helpful.

Everything was perfect. You can feel the love with which the owners lead their hotel in every little detail. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with only fresh products. The surroundings are super nice. We could rent two of their bikes for free. (They only have three, we didn't have any problem with that because none of the other guests seemed to want to use bikes at the same time). Great recommendations for dinner. Cute cats. Very tranquil. The location was wonderful. It was a good home base to travel to Lucca, Viareggio, Pisa, Vicci, and various marinas. Breakfast was beyond expectations and both Paulo and Katherina were fantastic hosts. Paulo went out of his way to call a near by restaurant called "Baffardello" in which we had a fantastic dinner with extraordinary panorama right at sunset. I will never forget this experience! Thank you so much! We felt right at home and we would highly recommend this location to any travellers who enjoy a natural setting with a peaceful vibe.

“Great rural stay, close to Lucca”

This is an absolute gem of a place to stay. The farmhouse has a lovely rustic feel, and the couple who run it were so incredibly accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. As a bonus, there is a selection of local products available for sale, including some great organic wines. In terms of location, the farmhouse feels nice and rural, despite being only 5 mins outside of Lucca, so you get the best of both worlds!

What can I say ? A home away from home. Caterina and Paolo makes you feel comfortable and welcome. They treated us as a family. Caterina with that Italian character and Paolo with his calmness. They are a perfect couple. The agriturismo has a wonderful charm. Super clean, excellent breakfast and beautiful scenery. If we come back to Lucca we will definitely stay here again. Ciao da Malta
