During our two-night stay at Garden Gate, our dog was happily by our side throughout. The room and facilities were great, and we had no issues. The breakfast, prepared by the owner herself, was amazing; she even made scrambled eggs for us. We highly recommend it if you're traveling with your pet.

Really beautiful and peaceful place. We couldn't enjoy the swimming pool because of the weather but it was really nice. The room is cosy. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a lot of fresh products and our hostess was delightful and always available. She provided us with good advices, picnic and funny stories ! It made us want to come back even before we left.

There is so much love invested in this little gem with traditional characteristics and a warm homely feeling, the outdoor spaces are beautiful, incredible attention to detail to ensure all your needs are met for a comfortable stay, even catered for specific dietary requirements for breakfast, the location has a beautiful energy with nature walks near the cliffs, perfect place to recharge.

It was like beeing at home. Carol was so nice. We had good conversations and the breakfast was very very excellent! It is highly recommended to stay at the B&B. Also the surroundings are beautiful. Thanks a lot!

We were very well received by the owners. It's perfect to relax in a calm town. The breakfast was perfect and they gave us a choice (Continental or English). The water on the pool was perfect and even have a shower outside. The room was confortable and well equiped.

“An amazing place to stay in Gozo! Don't miss it”

The host was really kind, friendly and responsive! The place is a great charm, lots of flowers, sitting area, the bathroom is good! Only that the bed is a bit small if you are a tall person :). The pool looks nice but we did not use it since only 5 minutes by car we are at a quiet and beautiful beach. The host told us a bit the history of Gozo and Malta. Overall a great stay and if I come back Gozo, I will certain stay here without question :) Thanks Carol!

“Gozo at its best! Simple yet lovely stay in a quaint village”

As other reviewers have noted, this is a very special place. Such an authentic feel being in the old Maltese home. Carol is so easy-going and helpful. Her breakfasts were superb and each set of guests get their own separate dining area - in the courtyard or by the pool. We had the room where the bathroom is actually just outside the room across the balcony and actually preferred it there - as we didn't disturb our spouse when using it at night or showering early in the morning. The location is really perfect for exploring Gozo. You can easily walk to the Ta Cenc cliffs for the lovely sunset and into town for a dinner. Our room looked out on the pool and we had a balcony on the other side as well. And a very special bonus was the ease of parking. We were so happy to stay here and highly recommend it to others.

“Hidden gem”

The Garden Gate was the perfect place to stay, with an authentic feel and very kind hosts. Carol was very friendly, offered up many good food/activity suggestions and saving us in a flat tyre situation. Couldn’t recommend more.

Carol was the sweetest host we had during our time. She gave us very good advice and served an awesome breakfast. We would have loved staying a little longer. Definitely recommend!

“Fabulous farmhouse accommodation”

Perfect location for me . I loved it was a 400 year old farmhouse in a sleepy village ! Pool was great too ! Carol is an excellent host . She is friendly and welcoming . I loved breakfast and that I could make a packed lunch from it too if I wanted . Room was delightful and the private bathroom had an excellent shower . Bars in the village also did great meals in the evening !!
