The views are amazing and it's very quiet. Given that it is run by the catholic church as a seminar house, it does have a 'youth' hostle vibe about and no mirror or TV in the room.

Fantastic location in black forest. Wonderful views. Good breakfast. Not really a commercial hotel, but a retreat. There is s lovely chapel adjacent to the main building. Freiburg can be reached by car in about 35 minutes.

“quiet place on top of the hill”
Place is really nice, sitting on top of hill, with lots of trails going to different directions. Beds were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was really good. This place is run by catholic church as place for spirituality. Therefore, there is no real restaurant, so options for lunch and dinner are limited.

“Perfect mountain view, very quiet, comfortable room”
The hotel is very good with perfect mountain view. Although the road to the hotel is narrow, the countryside scenery is so beautiful. It's near the small town of St. Peter. We had dinner at a very good restaurant which the staff of the hotel recommended. Children are running in the grassland and chasing grasshoppers. The hotel in the forest is suitable for relaxation for several days. Breakfast is good.

“Never again, only to visit the nature surroundings”
We missed the breakfast what we have paid for initially , however the stuff was still nice enough to give us some bread and fruits when we asked if we could take some with us. Anyhow, the breakfast for 24 euros for two person with a non existing vegan options are simply too expensive. Bread with jam is not a proper vegan breakfast.

“A stay in the middle of paradise.”
The property is located in the middle of paradise. You are surrounded by beauty. As a bonus for me, there was a church next to it and a hiking trail. The room was super clean and the staff was really nice. The place is very soothing.

The location is so so beautiful. You dont have to go anywhere to get a nice view. The view from room itself is mindblowing. Room was so clean and the staff were also so nice.

Absolutely amazing! The mountain view is breathtaking and beautiful. All the hosts are very warm and welcoming. The rooms are super clean with a great nature view. We also saw the stars and new year fireworks at night as a surprise. We highly recommend!

“A quiet and beautiful place to stay for weekend and holidays with family or friends.”
The property locates in a very quiet countryside at half hillside with beautiful views surrounding. Room key was arranged in the very secured place at the entrance as the reception does not work in the evening. The room is very clean with towels and bath gel. Staffs are very nice and friendly at the reception and the kitchen. Hearty breakfast selections with reasonable price (10 euro per person), eating at the big terrace with flowers. There are sufficient free parking place available around the front of the property. There are walking trials around the property so easy for holidays and weekends. Local bus ticket is provided at check-in.
