Very clean & tidy. Family friendly owner hosts, always available. Fresh baked cake / goodies left in room as a nice surprise when returning from day out. Location excellent for skiing with or without car, only 10 mins (car) to slopes.

The hosts Angelika and Thomas were very lovely. Thomas was waiting for us with keys and he showed us the whole apartment. Angelika would check with us every day if everything was OK. One day we broke one cupboard's handle in the kitchen - it was fixed by Thomas immediately. And the best part - Angelika brought home made cakes to us twice in a week. The cakes were excellent and this gesture was so lovely. Thank you again for that! The apartment is very nice - the pictures don't do it justice. In fact - the pictures here should be updated: the entrance antechamber is a little bit different now with much better garbage disposal cupboard - very easy to separate garbage, which was actually emptied every day. The best part that we loved the most is the living room/dining room/kitchen space. The kitchen is small, but perfectly sufficient and very well equipped with everything. The living room area doesn't look too pretty on the pictures here but it has been reworked and it is now super cosy - you could easily fall asleep here while reading a book. And it has these super soft Bedsure blankets/quilts on an L-shaped couch. Location is perfect - less than 15 min by car to the Mittelberg Gletscherbahn. And if you don't want to use car, there is a skibus stop about two minutes walk from the apartment. There is a cross-country skiing track right behind the house, which we conveniently used one day to go to Mandarfen and back. Grocery stores are in Mandarfen or directly in Piösmes, or you can drive about 20 min to a bigger one - Mpreis or Spar in Wenns. You can park directly in front of the house and there is also a special ski/equipment/bikes room where you can store your stuff. We will definitely be back if we come to Pitztal again - be it in summer or winter.
