Located a 5-minute walk from the centre of Sankt Johann, Appartement Barbara offers accommodation units with light wooden furniture and a balcony or a terrace. The closest cable car station, Harschbichlbahn is a 2-minute walk away. Each of the Barbara apartments features Alpine-style furnishings. Free Wi-Fi is available in every apartment and guests can store their ski equipment in a room on site. On request, freshly baked bread rolls are delivered to the apartments every morning. The local train station is 700 metres away, and free shuttle services from and to the train station are available. A shuttle from Salzburg Airport can be provided upon request and a surcharge. “Best place to stay with kids on a ski holiday”
This was our first ski trip with our 3 kids and apartment Barbara provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment is modern and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped with a lovely dining table where we could enjoy our meals comfortably. The living area is spacious with a huge tv which the kids really enjoyed. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were so so comfortable. We had a great night's sleep every night and woke up refreshed in the mornings. The location of the apartment is excellent with a very short walk to ski school and the gondola. There is a huge boot room in the basement with heated boot hangers where we could leave our skis and boots in the evenings, so that saved us a cost on renting lockers at the ski rental shop. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. Roswitha, our host, was lovely and very welcoming. She presented us with tickets to the local swimming pool which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. She also offered me a lift to the train station on the morning of our departure which I am truly grateful for. Thank you very much Roswitha. Prior to arrival and during our stay, communication was excellent. Christian and Roswitha responded to my queries very promptly. Thank you Roswitha and Christian for making our first ski holiday with our kids an enjoyable and comfortable experience. The kids had a great time! If we ever make it back to St. Johann in Tirol, we will definitely be booking apartment Barbara again.

“It was a warm, comfortable and cosy apartment with everything you need in it for a great holiday.”
It was self-catering so we got our own breakfast. The location was very good, really close to the centre of the town.

Perfect place, walkable distance to the center, great size of the apartment. Has everything you need. Happy there was parking for each apartment although I can imagine it might be a bit of a tight squeeze when full.

“Excellent, homely, stress free!”
Cooking facilities, kind, very helpful staff. We loved having the ‘tourist card’ which allows us access to the swimming pool and free train transport to ski resort too! Staff were very reliable, especially when we had an issue with the hot water, which they sorted quickly. Couldn’t recommend them enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
