“Back again to one of our favourite places.”

We have been back to Romantik Appartements so many times, I have lost count, but it's always a place of rest and tranquillity. The welcome is always warm, and the place is ideal for some peace and quiet, and this year there was even some snow and a bit of sun for the first few days, which is a definite bonus.

Dani was superb , she made sure we had a quiet space and sorted any issues immediately. The room was beautifully decorated , four posted bed and very clean. The location for hiking was brilliant and the outside space to sit and look at the panorama views first class.

“Relaxation and tranquility”

As we have been here so often, I'm running out of any new things to say, except that it continues to be a lovely place to get away, relaxing, untroubling. The views from the rooms are stunning, and there is now some plastic grass on the balconies, to make them non-slip, which is a really nice thing. Otherwise, it is much as we remember it, and we always come back refreshed and relaxed.

very friendly hosts, comfy beds, room is well equipped, good location for hiking and biking; fridge in the lobby with great range of drinks to help yourself for a nightcup or when thirsty after hiking/biking. The weather being hot we didn't use the sauna. The local natural swimming pond is great, excellent water quality , nice little kiosk selling drinks and icecream, very clean place. The "Alte Mühle" next to the pond offers great food! Also Kreuzhaus (15 min by car) is a great spot for food.

I would estimate 10+ . The hosts are very friendly, they are always ready to help if you have any questions or difficulties. The the apartments´payment includes costs for the culture parks visits, which is very cheap as compared to the tickets bought directly at the parks. The rest is perfect for families with children and dogs. I am planning to come here on winter season with my family. Respekt zur bayerische Leuten :)

“Rest and relaxation in Romantik Appartements”

We have been going to Romantik Appartements pretty regularly for over a decade, so we were looking forward to our return. It was the first time we had been back since a change of owners, but I'm happy to say that the new owners are just as friendly and helpful as the previous ones (and we also bumped into the previous owner in the supermarket, which was a nice bonus!). It remains a quiet, relaxing place, close to woods and walks (and if the weather had been a bit better, to ski tracks). This is one of the few places that we return to regularly and we hope to continue to do so. Sankt Englmar is very quiet, but ideal for people who love being out and about in nature, and want to relax and rest away from noise and bustle. If that's you, we highly recommend the place.

“Excellent place for a family holiday, highly recommended”

We enjoyed our stay a lot: the property is in a beautiful and tranquil location just outside Sankt Englmar. Our room was bright and spacious with a balcony that offered a great view over the surrounding landscape. There's a small but perfectly adequate kitchenette, which is useful as there's no restaurant on site (there's a nice little place called Wirtshaus zum Waldcafé with good local food about 500 m away - open on weekends only, though). There's a small playground on site, which seemed very popular with kids, including our daughter. Rates were very reasonable, the welcome was friendly and breakfast was plentiful. If we're in the area again, we won't hesitate to return.

“Peace and beauty in Sankt Englmar”

For various reasons, we have not been to Romantik Apartments for a couple of years and it's even longer since we were there in summer. Once again, we loved it. The place is beautifully appointed, the room is fine, with amazing views from the balcony, and the owners are lovely. It is very quiet and peaceful and Sankt Englmar is really a place for people who want to get out for walks or biking. There are a number of great place to visit around too, WaldWipfelWeg, the Xperium, the summer toboggan ride, are all in walking distance. We always enjoy going to Romantik Apartments and the surrounding beauty is priceless.
