Overview
Der Waldhof is a family-run hotel in a very quiet location above St. Anton. It offers Alpine-style rooms with balcony, a spa area, large sun terrace and panoramic mountain views. The Waldhof’s rooms are fitted with furniture made from hand-crafted natural wood. All rooms have a DVD player, and guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Half-board comprises breakfast and a 4-course gourmet dinner. Gluten free and specific diet meals are available on request. There is also a bar with an open fireplace. The spa area features 2 saunas with mountain views, a steam bath, an infrared cabin, and a relaxation room. Guests can benefit from free transfers to and from the cable cars, which run every 10 minutes. A ski storage room is available on site and guests can buy tickets at the guest house. ARL.rock & ARL.well.com are a 3-minute drive away.

Extremely clean, tidy and presentable hotel. Large well decorated rooms. Great breakfast and dinner. Great facilities, shuttle bus to and from hotel to lift, ski storage by the main lift. Couldn't ask for much more.

The hotel is exceptional. After travelling for 8 weeks around Europe this was a highlight of our trip. The hotel is owner managed and the service is one of the best we have ever had in all our years of travel. The food and presentation was amazing. You are made to feel so welcome by all who work at the hotel. We will definitely return.

The experience was exceptional - food "Michelin" stile and quality. Michael and Andrea and staff very friendly. Morning shuttle to ski lifts and arrangement with local ski store worked well is big plus. Will defiantly recommend to everyone

The experience was exceptional - food varied and excellent quality - a surprise each day both breakfast and dinner with full table service. Michael and Andrea and staff v friendly and attentive. Property as if new and high quality. Shuttle to ski lifts and arrangement with local ski store worked well to leave own skis/boots each day - no lugging stuff around at end of day.

The staff were fantastic, the property is 1st class, a mix of modern and traditional style with quality fixings, food was outstanding !, we booked the 2nd night of a road trip for 2 nights but ended up staying for 5 nights as we knew we would not find better - stunning views from the room straight down the valley

“Perfect stay at Waldhof”
The hotel is very cozy, family-run boutique hotel. The quiet location promises a good night’s sleep. The proprietors and all working there were very friendly, helpful with advice. The star is the kitchen - each five-course dinner is not just a piece of culinary art, but also represents five extremely pleasant surprises. That, plus the very rich breakfast, with options for every taste. The rooms are lovely furnished in natural wood and spacius with breathtaking views. We had a super relaxed time and we hope we will come again.

Every time we return to stay at the Hotel Der Waldhof, the pleasure is perfect, full of experiences and exciting. The hotel owners Andrea and Michael, who also serves as the hotel chef, are ultimate hosts. They are generous, helpful, cheerful and perfect by any measure. The hotel rooms and public areas are incredibly clean and magically designed, the work of Andrea. The breakfast as well as the dinner are handmade by the talented chef Michael. The meals are incredibly tasty and varied, always surprising and delightful. A unique experience every time, which is a fascinating culinary journey at the highest level that should not be missed. The hotel staff, apart from the owner, is very helpful, courteous, smiling and above all incredibly professional. The location of the hotel is in a wonderful and magical area of Sint Anton, known and famous for a great variety of attractions, hiking trails and of course special ski resorts operating in the winter season. Also, it is close and within reasonable driving distance to famous sites and travel destinations. It is important to note that the hotel also has excellent parking at no additional cost If it were up to us, we would give Hotel Der Waldhof the 5 stars it deserves. Without a doubt, we will return and stay at the Der Waldhof hotel, which is excellent in all respects.
