Everything was perfect: the charming location in the lovely village, the room was large and comfortable. We had a good Chinese breakfast in our wooden room. The owner helped us in all our requests and gave us very good suggestions. I strongly recommend a stay at Lost World !

“A great guesthouse with lovely people”

The guest house is nice, very comfortable, in a quiet part of the village. Liang, his wife and the other woman are lovely and very helpful. I did a great hike with Liang in the countryside (tea fields...) between the old and authentic villages and I loved it! I also had a nice lesson of Lusheng, a Dong traditional music instrument.

“Special and cozy accommodation”

First of all, Wei and his staff from lost world are incredibly kind and helpful. They were available for any question and gave advice when needed.The little apartment was cozy and the whole accommodation with its wooden interieur special and charming. We ate dinner twice at our place and asked for a mixture of veggy and meat, both times very good and varied food!

“Best place I ever stayed in China”

It is just heaven : the smell of wood brought back childhood memories of the Alps. The suite was perfectly located in the quiet village overlooking the rice fields, but with everything you need walking distance away. The terrace was just the most peaceful place on earth and the staff was extremely friendly helping us with all the paying hussle travelling to China as a foreigner can nowadays include if you don't have WeChat.

Spacious rooms in the middle of a historic village. The personnel was very kind and made sure that I had the best possible time. I also highly recommend opting for the amazing breakfast the guest house serves.

The hotel is built as a traditional house right beside the village square and it's traditional drum house. Wei was very helpful. He booked us a taxi from the train station to the hotel , explained about the activities in the area and the spatial traditional dinner and dancing. He even let us keep the room until 16:30 with no additional charge

“5 star authenticity and comfort”

Lived in China for 9 years now and this is one of my all time favourites. Accommodation is completely authentic Dong Village guest rooms, plus excellent air con, showers, beds etc. Really thoughtful and high quality renovation, maintaining all of the local features whilst also providing great comfort. Helpful and smiley hospitality provided by Xiao Chen with quality breakfasts and coffee for those who need the morning surge. It is such a beautiful area. The villages have retained their historic feel and there is some truly gorgeous hiking through a nearby valley with rice terraces and tea plantations. Local people are genuinely welcoming and friendly and there is great food to be had in the local family restaurants. This was my second visit. I will undoubtedly return.
