Overview
This Southern Florida hotel is located on 10 acres of Sanibel Island. It has 550 feet of private beach as well as onsite bicycle, kayak and paddleboard rentals. All rooms at the island Inn have a seating area, HD cable smart TVs, and full kitchens. a view of the ocean, free Wi-Fi, and an iPod docking station is also provided. The Island Inn's private beach provides an excellent area for swimming, BQQ grilling and seashell collecting. The front desk staff can also help guests organize sailing or kayaking expeditions. The Island Inn is 5 minute's drive from the 5,200-acre J. N. Darling Wildlife Refuge and less than 22 miles from Fort Myers city Centre. Jerrys Grocery Store is less than 3 miles away. Front Desk Hours are 8 am EST to 5 pm EST daily. If guests are arriving after 5 pm EST they need to contact the hotel directly for after hours instructions. Construction will be going on in other areas of the property daily from 9 am EST to 5 pm EST

“Peaceful, tranquil island escape. Will definitely return.”
The location, the size of property. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. They lent us sieves to search for shells and a boogie board for my children. Wish we could have stayed longer. They lost 15 buildings in the hurricane but they are still a fabulous place to stay.

Great location, beach was stunning and great for shell collecting . Accommodation was perfect wish we could have stayed for longer . Wishing Island Inn and their team all the best as they rebuild after hurricane Ian . We would love to return one day

“Island Inn - wonderful location, lovely hotel - September 22 hurricane spoiled our stay”
A lovely lady greeted us and explained that the only supermarket would close at 7 and directed us to the only restaurant that was open (food was amazing though). (Many businesses are closed due to the devastating hurricane last September 22). Unfortunately we did not know when booking about the hurricane hence why some of our scores are a bit low. It isn't the owner's fault. The pool was obliterated so we were unable to have that option. The beach was only 100 yards and was very nice, water was warm :) The room was clean and the beds comfortable, bathroom was clean, kitchenette was well stocked with plates, cutlery, pans etc. However, even though our visit was spoilt due to the island being devastated by the hurricane, we are glad to provide the Island Inn with much needed payment to help them rebuild.

“August stay at Island Inn”
Old style charm and the perfect beach location. Staff in reception were helpful, friendly and sincere; some great folks in the restaurant as well. Our room was a very good size as well
