The guest house is in a perfect location right on the shores of the lake. Most bedrooms have a lake view. They are very clean and the our host (Anne) was wonderful. Very attentive and informative. She makes lovely home made cake! This is a great place to stay if you want to explore the lake, the cycle tracks and the wider Arcachon basin.

Loved our stay here. Out of our 9 night walking tour of this area of France this accommodation was the best by far. Beautiful location, breakfast was amazing. The host was very friendly and welcoming.

Really nice place and location, we could fish at the lake next to it. The house is very nice and Anna did a great breakfast and very relaxed, which we needed after a long drive.

Superb breakfast. Lovely host. Spotlessly clean and little treats like Annes little cakes left after cleaning the room so I could eat them with a cup of tea while sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake. BEAUTIFUL HOUSE.

Anne is an excellent host - attentive and knowledgeable about the local area, fantastic breakfasts - (omg warm fruit crumble!). Superb lakeside location. The room was very comfortable and we loved the little home baked treats.

This place is perfect with beautifully decorated comfortable bedrooms , home baked treats and a wonderful host - Anne makes time to talk to her guest and helps with travel advice and anything else you need to know about. In fact we are going to have to revisit, as we underestimated the time it would take to see everything, and you can be sure when we do we will be staying here again :0)

The garden of the property has a lake and sandy beach literally through the garden gate. The house was impeccably clean, gorgeous view of the lake from the room balcony, surrounded by nature and very peaceful. Anne & Pierre treated me like family, very generous and kind. Supermarket, bakery and some restaurants walking distance from the property. Restaurants have limited opening times out of season (I visited in Sept) so be aware of this should you visit at this time. Excellent escape from busy city life. Recommended.

“A stay in Aquitaine”

Our rooms were very clean modern and very comfortable. Our host was extremely helpful and the breakfast was excellent. There is a lot of unspoilt places to visit in this region as well as a number of tourist attractions.
