Danhostel Sandvig is located in the coastal town of Sandvig, near the Hammerknude Cliffs and 200 metres from a beach. It offers free Wi-Fi in public areas and free parking. At Danhostel Sandvig, guest rooms have a private bathroom with shower. The Guests are welcome to make their own lunch package at breakfast for a small extra fee. “Great hostel, beautiful location, provided everything we needed.”
Convenient location just by the bus stop and near the beach. Short walk into beautiful Sandvig. Comfortable beds, clean. There were 3 of us staying in a 6bedded bunk room so plenty of space. We arrived at a weekend when there was no one else staying and no staff around, but instructions on our room and how to find it were made very clear. Kitchen was clean, and everything you need to prepare and cook a meal was available. Staff allowed us to leave our luggage in the kitchen for the day after we’d checked out. Great hostel.

“Nice place to rest outside of the centre.”
Friendly and helpful staff and very friendly atmosphere overall. Some parts were old, but all was clean and pleasant to use. Linen and towels were included.

“Cosy hostel in a great location close to Opal Lake and Hammershus.”
This hostel is really cosy. They have a nice yard with tables, a lawn and a ping pong table. The atmosphere was cosy and friendly and we enjoyed the homely feel. This is perfectly located for beautiful trips to the Opal lake and Hammershus - you can walk from the hostel. The beach is just 5 minutes walk from the hostel too. Access to a joint kitchen and fridge is perfect - saves you lots of money on the pretty expensive restaurants in the area.

“Good Breakfast”
Breakfast was very good, a lot of options. Fresh fruit, muslis, diverse choice of bread, oat milk, honey. All good quality
