Location was lovely. Quiet town. Property overlooked the church and you could see the beach. Great private outdoor space. The cabin was very well equipped. The kitchen had everything you might need. The shower was good. Sofa bed was very comfortable. Easy access to the Witches Finger Trail & bus stop to the airport & Torshavn. Supermarkets are 2/3km away in Midvagur. Small local shop.

Fantastic🙂👍... Hjallurin was such a comfortable place to stay & the little town of Sandavágur was so special. The amazing little church next to the water wow!!! Highlight of the town, makes a great picture & was great sitting on the decking looking across at. Rolling green hills surround the property🙂👍... Bed was very comfortable, Folds away to create more space, loved the bathroom area, shower was excellent. Cute little table that folds away. 100% clean & tidy & hosts very warm & welcoming🙂👍 hosts little cute 💙 dog even came to say hello... reccomend boat trip to Drangarnir arch. Also visit to the capital Torshavn. Airport not to far & linked by bus 300 to the capital.

This house is small but perfectly formed! The owners have made great use of a small space. My husband and I had a lovely 2 night stay here. It was cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed to cook. It's a great base for exploring Vagar.

My visit to Faroe Islands was a short one, but worth it. I got all the informations needed from the host before my trip. I had the warmest welcome ever. There were friendly and helpful, really appreciated that as a solo traveler. To make the most of my time there, they suggested some places to visit, and I must say, they were breathtaking. As for the cabin, it was more than I expected. It is a little cabin, but they designed it so well, it feels like a huge house. It was clean and it has literally everything you need. And on top of that, you get amazing views from the porch. Thank you for everything! I highly recommended them and the cabin, and if I am ever going back, I will love to stay there.

“Place to be on the Faroe Islands”

I enjoyed my stay on 100%. Hjallurin is spotless clean, very well equipped with all necessary utensils for kitchen. Bathroom was spotless clean, with hairdryer and shower gel/ shampoo. Heating was working well, what can be better than come come after windy rainy cold day to warm and light little house? 🙂 the hosts were great and welcoming, they provided all necessary information about location, check in, parking right on time. This place is 10 min driving from the airport towards Torshavn, so in the beginning is perfect to come home first after flight, exhale, recharge and start to explore Faroe Islands, and on the last day it is good to know that airport is right near. Town has all necessary for living: supermarket, restaurant, petrol station, and of course stunning views. I absolutely recommend! Last but not least, very good price! Thank you for hosting! 🍀

It was an amazing experience being in this little cottage. It was very cozy and had everything that I needed. The landscapes around it are trully beautiful (as all the landscapes of Faroe Islands). The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Location, ambiance

Cosy, stylish little apartment that is equipped with everything you need - despite its only 12 m2 surface. It even has a terrace where (if weather allows you…) you can sit outside. Location is 10 mins drive from the airport but even Klaksvik is only ~65 mins. Plus, the hosts are great - it was wonderful time there!

“A cosy tiny house”

The location is brilliant as it’s only about 15 mins from the airport. It is very close to a big shop and only half an hour to the capital city. It has a beautiful view from the house too. I would recommend going to the accommodation first before shopping for food so that you know the amenities - they are really good for such a small space.
