The lady at reception was exceptional. My partner wasn’t feeling too well and she took great care of us. Really kind, helpful and caring.

We only stayed here for 6 hours as it was inhabitable, completely different to the pictures, very bad smell, dirty. I have never stayed in anywhere worse - the pictures were taken 15 years ago (as confirmed by the staff) - it was completely falsely advertised and we are waiting for a refund.

Being very generous giving a 7, as it’s pretty basic. Only stayed 1 night - the rating is due to the friendly, helpful staff. Very simple accommodation, older furnishings, but very affordable for a private room.

Very helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Not the best location but nothing much in the area without a 30 minute + walk.

Staff were all very friendly. There should be someone around at all times. For the price the room was good. Not too small and clean. Location is a 30 min walk from the centre and there’s a good night market only 15 min walk away.

Good value for money, quiet location. Usually when it comes to budget places, something doesn’t work like the aircon or hot water etc but here, it all worked - just what you need. Friendly staff.

The hotel was very affordable, and the lady, whom I believe to be the owner, was exceptionally friendly and often greeted guests with a warm smile.

The only positive aspect was the very helpful and polite staff. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the overall standard of the place was well below expectations. I do not recommend this accommodation.

Room is cheapest in Sandakan. And quite clean. A lot of parking spaces.
