“Amazing jungle and river adventure. Very highly recommended.”

Everything! The lodges are spacious, clean, good air con. Comfy bed. The communal area for breakfast and dinner is a lovely open space with some outdoor seating. The staff.. wow, they are so lovely!! Has a real family feel. Kind and helpful. The activities were perfect. We did a morning, a night and an afternoon cruise. And a night walk. Saw lots of animals and birds that the guides pointed out on the other side of the river! Their eyesight must be amazing. The guides have an unbelievable knowledge about the wildlife and area. Really impressive. Bring lots of insect repellent! The weather plays a big part in what you can or can’t do, but they are very accommodating with changes. Loved the Batik painting activity. Food was good. Can’t rate this place high enough.

The room was spacious and the bed comfy enough with a fan and air con. The common area had some nice seats and plenty of space to spread out. The river cruises were good and guides knowledgeable. Staff all friendly.

Really sweet authentic lodge with clean basic rooms and simple good food. The staff are absolutely lovely and can't do enough to help. It's a lovely homely atmosphere with guests who are genuinely friendly.

We came with a rent a car- eazy road no problem, parking no problem :) We booked boad tour- great guide we saw colorefulbird, monkeys (small, silverback and BIGnoses) Brekfast ok

The staff were friendly and helpful, the receptionist was very kind and allowed us to use her mobile hotspot.

Love this place! Very comfortable rooms. Stuff is very helpful and the guides on the cruises ware soo cool. We saw whole Borneo 5. Highly recommended.

“Convenient for (relatively expensive) boats trips along the Kinabantang.”

Meals were good—and catered for vegetarians (like us). Staff friendly. Some reasonable forest opposite with Hooded Pittas, although you're not encouraged to visit on your own.

The staff were incredibly friendly and so kind. We went on 7 river cruises and managed to see so many animals including wild orangutans, hornbills, probiscois monkeys and lots of kingfishers. Batik painting was great.

Fifteen minute walk from boat for river cruises. Managed to see all of the big five in three cruises with their own guide and boatman so only needed two days and two nights. Dogs did a great job guarding against monkeys, but watch your shoes, one of mine had been borrowed by one of the dogs.

“Jungle experience in comfort at Kinabatangan Wildlife Lodge.”

The staff were exceptional. Especially the chef Rowena catered to our requests as much as she could. The rooms were comfortable and clean, good beds, aircon. Staff were very helpful with good advice on excursions without overselling. This is not a luxury resort but a wildlife lodge in the jungle with all comforts. A nice feature is cold drinking water on tap to fill bottles and tea/coffee available.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, quiet location in the jungle. Nice variety of activities offered in the day, such as cruises, walking and external excursions. Lots of wildlife around the cabins, which really reminds you you’re in the jungle. Nice communal feel in the living room area, met some nice people.
