“Very nice owner”

The room is really big and comfortable. The pension is in the middle of nowhere but you can get dinner and a very nice breakfast there. The owner is so kind and helpful. He gave me a text message to show to the bus driver so that I can be dropped off next to the house when I arrived. He also offers a ride to and from the beginning of the Jirisan trail. I was able to leave my luggage at the house while hiking for 2 days 1 night which was amazing.

Roger was a perfect host. If you are looking to hike in Jirisan national park and do not speak Korean this accommodation (and this English speaking host) are ideal for you. If you are getting to Jungsan-ri from either Seoul or Busan Roger will send you a text you need to show to the driver and the bus will stop in front of the Green Valley accommodation. When he drives you all the way up to the entry of the Jirisan National Park it saves you (kilo)metres in distance and in altitude and if you want to do hike up to the summit in one day (without staying at the shelters) this helps a lot.

Good stay. Clean and peaceful place. good breakfast aswell! Possible to have lunch or dinner if ordered in advance which was useful to me. Very close to the starting point for Chawbagong mt. Owner can give you a ride to the starting point. I appreciated! He also speaks english!

The hospitality of the host will brighten your stay, you are welcomed to the hotel as you would be in his home. Already before arriving, he spontaneously gives great tips on how to get there (by bus in my case). Once there, I had the possibility to eat great home made Bulgogi in the evening. For the next day, a nice breakfast, and the best of all: he offered to drive to the hiking trail head, and pick me up once it was done! This is not only very nice service, it's warm Korean hospitality and kindness.

Beautiful location close to Jirisan. The owner, Roger, was incredibly helpful and drove us into town to get dinner on our first night and to the trailhead first thing in the morning for our hike up Jirisan. The river runs directly behind and was a lovely place to cool off in the afternoon

Very nice place, the owner is kind and helpful. If you want to visit Jirisan and the surroundings for affordable price, this is the go-to place.

The communication between the owner and I was great. There was a bit of a mishap getting there as there is another pension called Green valley and he waited and guided me to the correct Pension. The place is clean enough and close to Jirisan national park. There is a convenience store with some supplies. His dog was chained up the whole time I was there but he was a good boy.

“Great stay for hiking Jirisan”

My friends and I stayed here for one night before hiking up Jirisan and it was great! The host helped us get to the start of the hiking trail at 5:30 in the morning, he drove us there, which was already so kind. But then he also offered to pick us back up after the hike and drop us off at the bus station to go back to Busan. Without him, the hike would not have went so smoothly!! He really likes to help foreigners (like us), so if you think you need help and information when hiking Jirisan, do not hesitate to ask him! Thanks to him we were able to complete our hike with peace of mind.

The place is very close to Jirisan so it is an amazing option for people who want to hike! Rooms are big and clean. The owner was very kind and helpful and even offered to take us to the bus terminal and helped us with everything we needed.

I had a really great stay at Green Valley! The rooms are big, comfortable and clean. There is also a beautiful river nearby where you can relax, cool down and read. If you ask a day in advance then you can get a nice Korean breakfast (vegan friendly!) as well as a lunchbox (see picture) if you want to go hiking. That being said: the host is really kind, helpful and speaks good English. He responded to all of my questions and was helping me a lot with organising my bus transfer to the accommodation as well as back to Seoul. Also he kindly dropped me of at the bus station so I did not need to walk the way with my heavy backpack. Also he has a small convenience store in the building so if you want some drinks or snacks you can get everything you want.

The owner was extremely nice and recommended us places to visit and even gave tips on hiking Jirisan. The room was large and clean and had a homey feel to it.

Location is good as it is close to the starting of trail. Host is good in English so helps a lot in communication. He offers to pick us from bus terminal and sent us to start of trail is very helpful. We had problem with outdoor cooking as we couldn't find cooking fuel, he tries his best to help us. His is very fast in replying to queries even before our stay.

Owner Roger is very helpful. He picked us up from bus terminal at 9pm & on next morning sent us to bus stop where bus goes to Jirisan trail head, otherwise we have to walk uphill for an hour
