not too far from the main town of Cortina D'Ampezzo, nice little path to wander around at the chalet, nice pizza and coffee and breakfast was good. Clean bathroom, the door doesn't open as it hits the basin but once in there it is ok.

I had two very bad customer service experiences with this hotel. The first occurred at and shortly after booking. In creating my travel plans, I reserved four rooms at this hotel through Booking.com but accidentally selected the "pay now" option instead of the option with the ability to cancel later. I immediately noticed the error when my credit card was charged and contacted the hotel to request that the funds be refunded and the reservation changed to allow cancellation (in case my plans changed). After several attempts, both through Booking.com and directly with the hotel, my request was flatly denied. In fact, my plans did change in that instead of needing four rooms, I only needed two. Despite my renewed request, I was forced to pay for all four rooms. I acknowledge that the booking error was mine, but suggest that good customer service would allow for a cancellation or reservation change 8 months before the actual reservations, but this was not even considered at this hotel. Making matters worse, we arrived at the hotel at 2:30 PM only to find a notification that check-in was only available during restaurant-open hours, which did not start until 5:30 PM. The signed suggested waiting at the lakeside bar, but, of course, it was closed as well. And, finally, when we were able to check in, the individual handling those duties was probably the rudest person I've ever dealt with in a customer service environment. He was harsh, condescending, and rude in every action he took with both me and another in my party. For numerous reasons, I can advise in the strongest possible way that NO ONE SHOULD BOOK THIS HOTEL.

The rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, bathroom facilities were excellent, everything was very clean.

The hotel staff is outstanding, very friendly and always available to help you! The location of the hotel is just 10 minutes outside of Cortina.
